    Aer has just launched an update to the ole' sling bag 2 - the unimaginatively named "Sling bag 3" and oh boy.. they went to town with the updates. Basically, they have fixed everything that was wrong with the Sling pack 2 - two of the major updates are the updated laptop padding and the much-improved shoulder strap. However, the spirit of the Sling bag remains the same - an ultra-minimalist gym bag that carries your shoes, towel, and spare clothes.

    I think the buckle for the laptop makes the bag tighter and more secure against robbery, I kind of like it

    Awesome review. And I'll say the same for your review on the slim pack! I'm torn between the two but leaning more towards the slim pack. Just got a galaxy tab 8 ultra and the width is right around 13in so I might be pushing it with the sling. Keep up the great reviews!

    Would be cool to see a video with bags that can count as personal items. Osprey just released a 26+6 L expandable backpack that looks like a good size.

    I’d love a sling bag with a shoe compartment and laptop compartment to bring heels to the office! This bag looks so meh, though! And I wish it had fidlocks instead of those annoying buckles!

    Hey! do you have any recommendations for a bag to use for running and the gym?

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Gym = many. Running = no idea. If you can give me some more requirements I can try and help point you in the right direction, but I feel like running bags must be a category of their own (cuz I’ve never heard of one)

    • @rahmanbutt7290
      @rahmanbutt7290 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Nomads.Nation hmm I'm still not too sure myself haha. I'd say something that would be well fitted when worn and when you move so it doesn't keep swaying with each movement, can fit a bit of gym gear in there and keeps the water bottle stable. Main purpose would be to jog to the gym and carry my stuff at the same time

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rahmanbutt7290kinda stumped on this one lol. I’d say maybe look at the Boundary Supply Errant Sling or Monarc Sling as they both have a secondary strap that is designed to help cyclists keep the bags strapped to them

    Can anyone tell me what exactly the 13" laptop is referring to? The screen or the dimensions of the laptop itself?

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  ปีที่แล้ว

      A general rule of thumb me thinks. If it’s a 13 inch laptop, it’ll fit. But maybe triple check with Aer on the dimensions

    I have this bag and it’s awesome minus two things. 12.9 iPad Pro with magic keyboard doesn’t fit easily. I would have to pry my iPad out of it. And it’s very uncomfortable for longer walks.

      How big of a daily bag do you need?

    • @SteezyG
      @SteezyG 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Nomads.Nation if you go to the gym like myself, you need to be able to not only fit the shoes in the bag but also a change of clothes and a towel. Couple this with my work laptop, charger, book to write in and food to eat with a 1L water bottle I don't see how this bag is good for an active person. You can only include half the stuff you need for work and half the stuff for the gym.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@SteezyG Makes sense! But everyone differs. Some days when I go to the gym I don't need a change of shoes cuz I just wear my sneakers all day, and my gym provides towels. Plus some people just go to the gym and come right back home - which this bag would be great for. But agreed, for the person who needs to carry more stuff, this ain't gonna be enough space. That's why Aer has a Fit Pack (18L), Gym Tote (19L), Duffel Pack (21L) and Gym Duffel (24L) 💪🏼
