    HOW I REVIEW:
    As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.
    DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:
    A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.

    ONe feature about X-pac that is rarely mentioned is, that it actually has a sandpaper effect on Merino wool. So if the X-pac is in contact with the merino, it will wear/tear it down over time. Just a note, for those who like merino.

      AER is much better than Peak Design. PD only focuses on photographers, while AER focuses on quality itself, no matter the audience. I had the PD Everyday bag, and the hype on that backpack came from TH-camrs, who are photographers/video makers. The bag brands I really like nowadays are AER and Osprey (hiking).

    I don't know why Aer is never on my radar (nor is Bellroy, as their bags are too long). Curious - another short person/torso here - do you find the back edge that hits the lower back softer than the EG CPL24. The EG reinforced bottom/frame sheet doesn't like me. Been specifically waiting for your review on this new bag. ;) There are a lot of comparisons between this and the Travel Pack 3 Small where it has a lot more features for only $20 more. • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. Yeah the Travel Pack is awesome. However, it is bigger. And for shorter people like I am, this definitely is of importance. 35L looks pretty big on my back. Furthermore, the more capacity the more likely I am to over pack. So 22L for edc is great for my personal usecase

    I like the Aer lunar the most in edc size 18-26l range, but this is a close second, both are good size for personal item on airlines. For normal people who don't want to drop $200 on a backpack, I like the moment mtw and the away far 26l. I can't stand bags without luggage sliders, Aer is the company that puts them on everything.

      Aer Lunar is an underrated pack, its a really nice in between of EDC/small weekender trip. Only thing I wish is if the front pocket was ambidextrous or the side handle/water bottle pocket switched places (though this is me just being right hand dominant).

If it was between the Travel pack 3 (with 35L) and this one (22L), I would say get the City Pack Pro if you are about my height (170cm tall). Because the 22L is much better looking on my small back and not as big for edc.
      But with the small version of the Travel Pack with 28L there is just a small difference. So I would recommend to look for a different 22L Backpack just to expand your collection opposed to getting almost the same bag

    @Bo Ismono I wanted to ask your opinion on the new Aer City Pack Pro. I am buying this bag in the next few days. My question to you is… If you were purchasing this bag, would you purchase the Xpac or 1680D Codura material? I am liking the orange interior along with the aqua guard zips. However I live in south central Texas and we get very little rainfall. Perhaps Xpac is overkill? Just wanted your expert opinion on these materials and which do you think is best. Thank you again for your time and amazing videos.

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question. Personally I would go with the xpac just because of the orange inner lining. The silver inner lining is good to find small items, but the orange just gives you a high contrast and looks just unique Imho.
      That being said, both materials are great. And you can't go wrong with either. It's more or less a matter of taste. And I am all for saving money in this current economy. So my decision would be based on my budget. I hope this helps
