Also the difference between Modern and Retro mode, is that in Retro it's just like any other Crash game with a set number of lives and when you use them all up, it's Game Over and you restart the entire level. But in Modern mode which is the recommended, instead of having a set number of lives you have a 'death counter', which is where one of those gems comes in. Because as I said in my previous comment, one of those gems is only obtainable by completing said level with 3 or fewer 'deaths'. Also to get the crate underneath the TNT crate, you're doing it wrong. Spin attack the crate on the bottom WITHOUT moving. In other words, don't move into the crate while you're spinning otherwise you might blow yourself up.

Note those Lost Tape Levels in this Game are meant to be like the First Crash Game where you would collect 3 Cortex’s Heads and it takes you to a hard level but instead of TNT and Nitros its a mixture of all of them I Dig It!

TNT and NITRO count as boxes/crates, you can jump on a TNT to explode it, while you can’t hit or jump on a NITRO, but there is a special cube for NITROS somewhere ( a lot of times at the end of each level), some levels you can have bazooka and it will explode them all
rumour has it chelsea took the boys & bella to her mom for a holiday as soon as she heard trevor was going to play Crash again.

Not sure if I should get this game. I got the remastered and I enjoyed it. Got it last year. But some of the levels I could not finish and got frustrated. So I am like should I get this one or not or will it be the similar as in I can’t finish some levels ?

When theres a tent on one box slide to hit the box under then jump on tnt after. It's easier and faster then spinning to break it
