The thing I love most about those tapes are how they give perfectly valid explanations for all the little details of Crash lore, like how the Nitro crates weren't introduced until Crash 2 because Cortex was testing them first.
Or how Crash got pants.

It also hints that Cortex is allergic to wumpa fruit, kind of a random detail but it's nice to see *some* depth to these characters for once

Both of you are right in a way, Akira makes a good point that it's a good way to show appreciation and also to help the people your supporting as a small streamers need the money and giving away money could be good for you and the streamer as the streamer slowly gets his or her income while the people donated get to be entertained and escape the harshness of the real world. Nathan is right because the money you could give to the streamers could be a waste of money as the money could go into a wrong cause or if it doesn't, you still have to worry about the challenges of taxes later and that money could make a difference in paying or not paying those. This is how I see it and pls don't harass me.

They totally messed up on the "Marsupus Erectus" skin for Coco. Her computer should have turned into a stone slab with a chisel. Or maybe an abacus.

IIUC, 100% is like 100%ing Crash 1 (not N Sane) and then some.
James Benson As someone who’s 100%ed the original Crash 1 twice... this is WAY harder, at least, in terms of how long and complicated it is to complete in terms of 100%.

@@superwildejellyfish Yeah I think part of the difficulty comes down to how long the levels are in this game. I don't know how long it took me to 100% but I can safely say I died the most times in this Crash game than any other. Thank the Toys For Bob for that modern mode life counter, if we were still using the limited lives system from previous games this would probably have been the first Crash game I got a legit game over on :D. One of the final obstacles in one of the latter levels where you have to use all of the masks was like controller gymnastics. Fantastic game though, the challenge never felt like like it was harder than the game was fun :)
When I first saw Crash just standing there and not staying still in the slightest all I could think was:
“You need to stay still”
“This is as still as I can stay!”

This game looks insanely good. I can't believe there was a petition to replace the character models with N.Sane assets. I love how Crash looks especially
models are great what I find disappointing is how Coco's wacky personality doesn't reflect the changes introduced in N Dane trilogy.
I had more fun when I stopped trying to 100% on my first play through, and just play for the platforming challenge. It’s hard not to fall into old habits of going for every box gem and relic. I decided midway that that could wait till I was done with the story. Ended up enjoying it a lot more.

@@cookiesontoast9981 This game somehow makes it not as a fun if you get me. 100% the levels is a nice feeling, but I’m enjoying it more after completing the base game story mode.
During my first play through I 100% the first 6 or 7 levels and I nearly lost my mind with how long it took without using guides, especially considering I also wanted to see more of the game, new characters, bosses and level designs.
Now that I’ve seen it it all, I can enjoy the extra challenge of 100% completion.

Watching him attempt that really difficult manoeuvre on the second Flashback Tape over and over when the nitro detonation crate was literally just a stones throw away was so, so painful.
Good practice. He has to do a similar maneuver around 5 different times on the last tape

I’m so happy about the “Don’t feel bad for the amount of money no matter how small” speech shows a quality of character I feel is rare now a days where any little bit helps as a creator and is greatly appreciated. Really good stuff
I bet there's a lot of us who, when replaying the old Crash games over and over, gave ourselves the extra challenge of trying to beat levels with 100% boxes and no deaths. For this game to actually reward such a playstyle with the Perfect Run Relic is a completionist's dream, and I'm really impressed that Toys For Bob even cottoned on to this aspect of playing Crash games.

46:30 I have no idea what you're talking about, N. Gin's voice has the same effect on it in N. Sane Trilogy and Crash 4, it's just more prominent in 4 (to the point that it's really difficult to understand what he's saying without subtitles). Also, regarding the performance, he did really _not_ sound "normal" in N. Sane Trilogy, he sounds significantly more OTT and manic than in the original Crash 2/3 version (although the originals were better since they were going more for a more creepy and menacing vibe and yes, I agree that the original's vocal effect was much better).

There have been some pleasant surprises in the world of video games this year. There are new installments of Animal Crossing, Streets Of Rage, Shantae, and now Cash Banooka. There are also some nice remasters/remakes like Final Fantasy VII, Spongebob BFBB Remake, Super Mario 3D All Stars, and so on!
This is definitely a great year for 3D platformer fans
And for me the RE3Make.
And while not a video game, the Sonic Movie was pretty enjoyable to me.
Not to mention Doom Eternal, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Fall Guys, Bug Fables, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Watch_Dogs Legion, and some more stuff coming this year. 2020's been CRAZY for games.

I remember in the original Crash 2 and 3, (not sure about 1), if you just tapped the Square button, Crash would break the bottom box among a stack, but holding it allowed you to break both lower and upper boxes, and I'm not even talking about the Death Tornado Spin, although there didn't seem to be any noticeable change in animation. Naughty Dog, coming in again with the crisp gameplay mechanics.

Crash 4 is absolutely incredible. I’m probably biting my own ass since I haven’t done the inverted stuff and all the other level replaying stuff, but so far it’s great. I might like it more than Crash 2 and 3, but I’m getting ahead of myself. I will have to see.
I used to have a cat that I named Neo Gin, I play Crash since 1999 and my friends and I always thought of N Gin as Neo Gin, but I was reading the chat and Nitro-Gin makes a lot of sense (Nitrogen pun) and it's also unique, coz the other characters are Nitrus Brio and Nitrous Oxide, so Nitro could be exclusive to N. Gin.
I wonder if he knew it will tske him 68 hours to complete the game

I've had levels where I died 40+ times trying to find a single missing crate, and only wound up losing 3 lives. There is literally no difference between modern and retro because of how many lives they throw at you

51:33 It's weird how all the evil scientists in the Crashes whose names begin with N had their first names revealed expect N Gin. Neo Cortex which is a play on neocortex a part of the brain referencing his intelligence, Nefarious Tropy as in entropy the direction of time fitting with his ability to control it. Nitrus Brio which both sounds like the word embryo and also references nitrous oxide which is also what CTR's villain is named after. But even though it's obvious N Gin= engine we don't know his first name.
Considering his fixation for machinery, maybe Napalm Gin?
