    Not bad for someone who says flat out that she doesn't like singing. Maybe self-conscious a bit, but she steps up when needed ❤

    It's always a pleasure hearing Ale's vocals, especially when she leads. Pau's antics/expressions/performance on drums is equivalent to Dany's facial expressions!! 😂👍🏽

    I love how she moves when shes singing, I am simply mesmorized. And Dany is such a goofball when she is not chained to the mic! It's either extra love or they are trying to make her laugh....

    Nothing like the newly 15 year old bassist who doesn't like to sing stepping up and taking lead on a few songs. Worth taking a look at this whole set. The first 3 songs to open the show all had different lead singers - not too many bands can say that. And you get Pau singing lead on Copper Bullets. Total high energy and the recording is pretty good too. Have fun.

    Ale has that smoky, sultry, almost blues-sounding voice, with what I think is a lower, deeper range than her sisters. Hopefully she'll decide she's interested in taking occasional lead sometime in the future, because they could compose some fantastic songs using that. Just as they do with Pau.

      I know this is trivial, and it really shouldn't matter, but someone pointed this out to me... Sorry but that is not Their Father Luis your seeing taking pics as they play. That is event staff. Go to Erick Alderete's channel, and watch the full show he has of this on full screen. Go to the very end of the performance, and you will see their Manager Rudy taking the after show pics, and that same guy your seeing during Hunter joins him to take his own. Much clearer shot of the guy.

    I would like to see Ale one day singing a song that was actually designed for her to sing. As it is when she sings these two songs she's singing songs meant for Dany's vocal range and has to sing at the low end of her range.

    • @steveherman6909
      @steveherman6909 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      The Warning unicorn. These two songs in particular do fall into Ale's comfort zone from how I understand. That's why "Red Hands" and "Hunter" are the songs that Ale isn't as reluctant to perform based on the number of fan cam videos available. Yes, I do also understand that sometimes it is to give Dany a break if she's a little under the weather. If you take a peek back at the QOTMS vlogs, there is a moment when Pau claims to be the lower harmony, and Ale calls her out on it, saying that it is her and not the middle sibling. Pau concedes. I could be mistaken and will rewatch myself.

    • @steveherman6909
      @steveherman6909 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In checking the vlogs, I caught and interesting moment that I've not noticed before. Vlog #23 at 15:56 after going over "Red Hands", Ale says, "I was gonna say. which one was for me" and Pau makes a zip your lip motion. Makes me now wonder if either of these two we intended to be Ale's to perform. As this was prior to full launch of QOTMS, if Pau wanted Ale to hush regarding unreleased tracks, "Hunter" was one at that time.

    • @steveherman6909
      @steveherman6909 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tsmartin Fair. Without knowing for certain, on the surface we may have to assume that Ale doesn't necessarily dedicate a lot of time to lead vocal training the way that Dany and even Pau do. In particular this show when I believe she was 15. Before any given show, it makes sense she may need to run a few lines during soundchecks to get the mic level properly set, but mostly for the harmonies/backing vocals.

    It isn't easy to play bass and sing lead at the same time. You have to use both sides of your brain because the note you sing isn't always the note you are playing, and even if it is, it is at least an octave apart. Plus, a lot of singers end up with staccato delivery because the bass is usually keyed in its timing with the drums. If you notice, when Ale sings it is always the same songs. There's a good reason for that. Those songs don't suffer from that issue all that much. As their more recent music is more complicated than the material from QOTMS, there is less of an opportunity for Ale to sing, I think, because of these issues. I did notice that she has taken on a lead role briefly in the song Sharks with it is performed live. In that section of the song she is doing something muted with her bass and the vocal delivery is almost monotone so it makes more sense for her to sing that part than Pau on the drums.

    Loved this Zack...Ale singing is such a treat. Sisters are really fully into it as well, and yes, Pau is being Pau.. she just has so much fun playing drums...it is kind of eerie at times. Love the sisters to death. Great selection. These days I would think that Stryper should be opening for them. My opinion.

    @ZWQ945 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

    I think Ale has a heavier, thicker timbre in her chest voice than Dany and Pau. The variations in their tonal qualities provides them a lot flexibility and depth to their vocal qualities. Then they can also harmonize so well. So much variety for them to implement into their music.
    Ale can't stand still even when on the mic. It's like she can't wait to pull away. Older sister Dany running across stage to support baby sister is so cute, especially knowing Ale is not comfortable singing lead. The sibling bond is strong in them.
    Pau is like "Animal" from the Muppets, she doesn't need Red Bull, but maybe Red Bull could find a way to can her energy.

      Ale's definitely got the lowest-sounding tone of the three, IMO. I've gotten confused between Dany and Pau on studio stuff before, like the very end of Dust To Dust - it didn't even occur to me that Dany did it until I saw a live version. There's absolutely no way that would happen with Ale, which is a good thing.

      Agreed. Ale has that smoky, sultry voice, with the deepest range of all of them. It's a pity she doesn't like singing lead, because they could compose some very cool songs using what she can do.

    It's said that Ale has perfect pitch, an innate ability to hear a tone and tell exactly what key it is, and if its a little sharp or flat.
    My late father, a professional musician, had perfect pitch, and said it's difficult to sing and play an instrument if your unable to place your voice exactly in key. Only extensive training and experience makes it comfortable. I think it's just that she's her own worst critic, but we all ❤ her!

    The problem is, Ale has perfect pitch, so when she hears herself sing is complete cringe for her. She hears every little error. Back in their earlier days her sisters weren't as amazing vocally as they are now, so I don't think she thought she was that bad. Now, the contrast is much bigger, at least in her mind.
    I have noticed she is more willing to do extended backing vocals now, so there is at least a glimmer of hope. The more she sings and gets comfortable with her own sound, the better chance of her singing even more.

      @@balgus82 There is another version that they had to come quickly with a name for a band meeting/contest and remembered they had an idea for an album titled The Warning. But they are not contradictory. It could have been Ale who proposed this when they were brainstorming.
      EDIT. In an early interview titled "The Warning - English Interview 2015" on Matt TW channel, the moment Dani start to tell the story of the name, she points to Ale who finishes it (around 27:00). I think that confirms what I remember from another interview, that Ale first proposed the name.

    People need to stop pressuring Ale to sing lead. She has clearly stated she doesn't like singing lead on more than one occasion. I think I know how she feels. I sang in the choir in high school. I had a decent voice and I really enjoyed singing with the group but I flatly refused to sing solo. I just did not feel comfortable doing it. Ale sings backup vocals and that is an extremely vital component of the band, any band. Ale plays a really bad ass bass and that is so impressive!

    Alé really needs to take the lead more often. Her voice is definitely a mix of Pau and Dany's. While the older sisters can reach highs and lows with ease, Alé has a kinda steady tone. Their harmonies are great, and the more, the better. Takes me back to the seventies, "just an old fashioned love song coming down in three part harmony" Three Dog Night had it dialed in.

    Alejandra denies the world but especially herself not investing and performing lead vocals. She woukd be one of the greatest vocalists in today rock scene, not second to any of her disters or other band lead vocalists of today. Alas, Alejandra just sturbonly keeps herself limited to a secondary role on her own band. It is so frustrating given her huge amounts of talent. I think Alejandra, who suffers from social anseity, is the k8nd of person who needs to be pushed out of her "comfort" zone. I know all too well what is that and i say all my regreats came from having stuck in that zone instead of opening up and opening out, lost opportunities that will never come back ever again.
