Thank you for this build, Which I was able to follow and use remnants around my shop to build… the bearings were pricey enough but much less cost than the unwelded version format in your other video. Wish I could post a pic of my version.

I would brace the corner of your bench you were using when you cranked down on the nuts holding the bearings in place, it was flexing quite a bit under the pressure. Might be a good idea to make the bottom bearings adjustable for different sizes of curves, let them slide closer together and farther apart.

Nice sturdy build.
But I'll Attach a 3 phase motor with a changeover switch which runs in both directions, so I don't have to crank it manually

That's a great looking bender, I just wish someone would make a make bender without needing a damn industrial metal lathe. Someone please make a hine made, rough, post-apocalyptic looking metal bender. A video that shows how to make one with limited supplies, practical, and does the job. Otherwise, I'd just drop $3500 - $4000 on a Baileigh and call it a day. I'd rather not, because I need to save my money in the event Kamala starts attempting to run the show in a few months.😢

Good job, but 2 designer faults:
1. The handle should be inserted in a drilled hole and THEN secured by welding. Otherwise the full load of your hand will be standed by welding only.
2. Same problem, where welding stands against load, comming from bended material, only, is the plate with welded nut, placed on top, BETWEEN both vertical "U" profiles. Much better solution were a larger plate, placed not between, but on TOP of those vertical profiles. Then you can weld all places, where this plate would meet, and cover, both profiles. Much stronger, hidden welding..
