I bent twice as large and thicker square tube had problems with it kinking some solved the problem with plain sand pored inside it kept the shape then pour out and weld as you did.

my question is why didn't yours dimple on the inside of the outside I see some of these experts saying you got to do this and do that they all say they bend and put dimples on the inside and the outside why didn't yours it looks like it's thick.
That could, certainly, be good. You just have to make sure whatever you use will fully support the material you will be bending, to avoid possible distortion. 😁✌🖖
Honesty , i didn't expect the tube would hold it's square profile while bending it this way. This an is amazingly simple and cheap solution. Respect.

Depends on the bend radius
Whether there are dimples or not, it depends on the diameter of the metal being bent
