    Step 1: create the titan class
    Step 2: put on peacekeepers
    Step 3: put on an smg
    Step 4: put on bubble
    Step 5: get tbagged by every single person that kills you

    • @mythe6669
      @mythe6669 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Step 6: Skip steps 1 to 4 and run Strand hunter with decoy and 6th coyote to move straight to Step 5.
      Step 7: Add Wishender if no tbagging does commence.

    I always tell players to play with intent. The content hits points that emphasis knowledge and critical thinking which play a critical role in growth. good job

    How I’m becoming better at PvP, is the same way I became much batter at Master End game PvE content. I applied real life logic to the game and told myself, there are plenty of ways to apply self discipline, become better, smarter, efficient, and not treat it as if the world is fighting against me and telling me, im just not good enough for this. I did not want to be held back from completing Seal progression which made me get out of my comfort zone.
    Now that I’ve been able to comfortably bring a team together and help do all those master end game challenges and help those with seal progression, I’ve moved on to revamping my previous PvP/Competitive skill set because I want to have that same level of comfort and confidence in Trials/Competitive.
    Even though the current season (22) is dry at the moment, I’m investing all my time into PvP. Between watching Daltnix’s videos/streams, getting more inspired by him, and Frostbolt, I want to make that transition and become a PvP main again.
    I’m challenging myself next season to go Flawless (Solo or Duo) each and every weekend, and not sit in fear, feeling like I need to be carried to the lighthouse. I need to be better, and I am going to get better.

    It has honestly felt like I've been getting worse at this game. Feels like I peaked in season of the lost and have been unable to get back to that. Not giving up tho, gonna try stuff in this vid. Thanks!

    Ay! You made the improvement video, thank you.
    I’m slightly above average, but even with Kovaaks, it’s been getting tough to feel/see improvement when everyone with a smg/sniper don’t miss.

      I lose track of the intent too easily cause I like to win the game so I often end up focusing on that instead of positioning or whatever else I planned to focus on. Definitely a problem for me and holding me back.

    This was a great vid. Thanks. I’ve recently started seriously playing with intent and at times it isn’t as fun, but I pulled a solo flawless this past weekend. Results are slow but steady. Rumble has helped a ton to force individual skill development

    One thing I need to improve at is using strafe jump effectively. I know every pvp build uses it for hunters, but I’m so used to triple jump in pve that I often do really weird things with strafe jump, like kill myself often through misadventure.

    • @mythe6669
      @mythe6669 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just like with blink, it really is a matter of playing a lot with strafe jump to get used to it. Just get used to the different jumps in the environment you use them in.
      I constantly switch to triple jump in pve but run strafe jump in pvp without issue. In fact, if I have triple jump in pvp cause I forgot to switch, it throws me off.
      Of course some players also use triple jump in pvp to throw others off... quite effective against snipers cause they don't expect the 2nd jump and aim for the anticipated trajectory of a strafe jump. A good sniper will catch on pretty fast though.

      @jmon4286 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mythe6669 Hey thanks for the info I appreciate it. I was thinking maybe I should just switch to strafe jump for pve for a couple months or something, that way it would force me to get good with it. But it just feels like a big disadvantage in the platforming sections to not have that second jump available.

    Dont stand still, always move, change position often, dont stick in a cluster fuck.
    Watch what your teamates do, if they are all behind you then move!.
    If enemies knows your position you will get rekt.
    Peak shot then change position otherwise 90% of the time they will shot nades at your spot.
    dont hide too close from corner, most of the time you will eat nades or be rush by shotgun apes.
    When you challenge someone if its a bad start then retreat and recover and challenge again. Rambo style doesnt work in real life neither in destiny.

    unfortunately in this state of the game, getting better requires an smg. playing a hc in this game seems pointless, you'll lose majority engagements against a pk smg titan.

    • @Daltnix
      @Daltnix  ปีที่แล้ว

      for the most part, I agree. Smg are way better. sorta depends on the map. but a good player can still make handcannon work. you just need to try way harder than if you had an smg on lmao.

  • @pullthetrigger9356
    @pullthetrigger9356 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The reasons metas exist is because people pursue the easiest, lowest skill option to win. Ever seen that one player that has 25k+ kills on an off meta weapon and he keeps destroying your lobbies? Yeah...that weapon is his pet weapon that he is comfortable with. That's what works for them. Using the meta is not end all be all. No point running a shotgun if you don't know how to use it.

    • @Daltnix
      @Daltnix  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't say it was the be-all end all. I said, if you want to perform better learn the meta. people can use whatever they want, and that's fine. but if someone is looking to better at the game quickly. it's a lot easier to use the meta. not as fun of course. but still better

    • @pullthetrigger9356
      @pullthetrigger9356 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Daltnix I feel the quickest way to get better is learning game awareness, movement techniques, etc. I've you can move properly and aim well, it doesn't matter what weapons you use, you'll still perform well.
