Also, Matt kinda forgot seperate ways. Breaking up the knife fight wasn't a stage show for Leon, Krasuer was actually supposed to kill him, Ada interrupting is her breaking from the plan, hence why she has to fight krauser later. Also it makes the sense of time super weird as the after the cutscene of them talking, the level ada has to go through to reach leon is WAAY longer than the level Leon has to go through to reach that room after the cutscene.
Oh, also a small detail people don't notice is that Leon ends that fight with both his and krauser's knives, hence how he's able to throw one in a later cutscene and still have it in gameplay.
"I didn't actually miss out on all that much." I wonder if Pat realizes that if he actually got all the treasures up to this point, he would have had enough money to upgrade all 4 guns to the max as well as buy the tactical vest...
The part in The Walking Dead where Lee is getting his head forced into the electric fence, the mashing QTE isn't difficult so you can keep it up for ages, but the game expects you to get tired and lose so that another character saves you. They really needed to make it more difficult and get more difficult over time, because as it is it's super awkward looking until you realise you're supposed to stop mashing.
Pat in the same room you sold the cat statue, if you had of checked the little storage chest/drawers/whatever the fuck, you would have found another stone for it.
That's what happens when nerds get their hands on a popular game that's well liked. They play it to death and learn about every little thing about it. And then blast people who simply play through the game for not playing as they would or not 100% like they did. It's an unpleasant attribute of 'hardcore' gamers.
Made me sad when he ignored that when Matt totally called it. Decided when they finish this run I'm gonna re-watch the series and whenever Pat is either wrong/screwing up/dead/ starts talking about the Red 9 or complains about anything TMP related, I'm gonna drink. Yay, it's the most genuinely threatening boss in the game! Especially if you're running low on stuff going into the fight, which, because I suck at video games, is usually the case for me. Up next, one of the more fun bossfights in RE4, that really feels like it belongs in a Metal Gear game, not a Survival Horror. The two awesome back-to-back bosses, coupled with Saddler's stupid old man laugh, the big dumb laser hallway and the ridiculous chair pose, makes this my favourite part of the Island area. I love it. Full ham.
I personally think that Saddler is the best villain ever simply because he's SO INTO IT! Like laughing at Leon's "senior moment" joke. He's so confident that he's going to win and he's so evil that he's fucking PERFECT.

Anyone else notice as you progress through the game, the merchant's eyes starts glowing red like a ganados? It would be cool if they had made an Easter egg where he fully changed and you fought him. He would have like 4 arms all wielding weapons :)
I died a little on the inside when they bought the Magnum upgrade instead of the body armor which reduces damage by 30%. Ah well, gonna be fun to watch them go up against Krauser.
Man, that Krauser part in the game pissed me off so bad. It not because its bad, but around the same time I played Kingdom Hearts 2, and that had the whole weird mystery game in-between. So when I played this, I thought I missed some in-between mobile game explaining Krasuer.
Well Pat can't remember that he already showed off the Broken Butterfly's reload animation a few videos ago, so that should tell you something about Pat's memory.

It's this fake QTE where one of the St. John brothers is trying to push Lee's face into the electric fence, and there is no way to overpower him, but when your face gets close enough to the fence then Lilly saves you. I forget how it ends if you side with Kenny the Murderer instead, but I'm pretty sure Lilly doesn't save you in that case.
