Elias hands down has the best u tube videos of all. He gets full in depth with the equipment and technique needed to catch fish. He’s a fishing machine. 🎣
Two thumbs up for wearing your pfd!! Two of the best fisherman on the planet right there..looks like a good time. That bluefish would kick that basses arse.
I recently just bought a boat and live here on LI. Someone suggested you on Reddit and now I’ve been binge watching your videos learning so much thanks man.
The water is still warm. As of 10/5 it was 67 in the Gut. Montauk is on Fire with Stripers on the Elbow. Went out prospecting today....the Blackfish bite is Savage!
Two of the reasons why I started my fishing channel!!! It's a bad day to be a fish when you two are on the same boat!! Great video Gentlemen!! Happy Fourth of July!!
Awesome work like always man! I’ve been fishing the sound for years and years now and would love to get more into the fluke bite. I often head to Truman beach to anchor and swim. I recall catching fluke in the bay as a youngin with my father. What type of bottom contour or structure do you look for when finding new spots? I’m assuming you know the area! Haha
I watch all yours and Elias's videos....... and I still stink at fishing! One 26" striper and a few sea bass at the Plum gut. Had to run all the way back to Bartlett reef and jig porgies for dinner.
there's definitely something weird to be said about chartreuse. almost all of my topwater plugs are in bone, white and yellow with a red chin, or some combination thereof. however, on the right day, chartreuse will get bites when nothing else will. and it will get no bites sometimes when they are chewing on bone. i was never a believer until one day i switched to chartreuse and the birds kept going after my plug. and i mean they'd bomb me while it was hanging off of my rod. couldn't believe it. could hardly fish until the birds moved on and then they'd come back. it caught fish that day when they were picky. it's a weird color, not present naturally in nature and probably not something they see reflecting the same wavelengths of light that we do. who knows what they see. i use chartreuse in that "holy shit there's about to be a huge storm" glow.
Nice video of two master You Tube anglers doing well. Must add however that it is pretty doubtful any razor blade or shaving cream companies will be seeking either of you for endorsements! 😁🤪
Mr. Skinner if I want to purchase a boat similar to yours, how much on a rough estimate do you think the budget should be? Always appreciate your content over the near decade, thank you sir!
I’ve owned a StarCraft 16 center console. I did some work but you can find them for 3500 -5000 setup nice I bought mine for 400 and did the work. Fish LI all the time with it.
Two of the realest fishermen on youtube these guys paired up is a deadly combo

Hi Sir I just wondered what the of your boat
Fish are in trouble with you two out there...

Maybe I need a bigger boat.
Just a bucktail no teaser?
Awesome 💯💪
I just got back from Plum Gut. I did not see you there. ;-)
Think there is any difference using the smiling bill or other style bucktail there?
Hair density is way more important than head shape here. Bulky jigs stand out better in the current.
@@JohnSkinnerFishing thanks for always taking the time to reply

So much depends on the cost of the motor. I bought the boat and trailer for $2500, but then spent well more than $10K for the new motor.
@@JohnSkinnerFishing Thank you so much Mr. Skinner!
Why Elias be looking like Reno 911?
