Update. Despite Simagic slow to respond the shop I bought from is sending a replacement 👍. The shop is SimShop in Dallas Texas simshop.com/ . Great people to work with.
There could be a number of solutions to this. Either a slightly thicker retention plate with a milled 'hole\depression' to hold the sprint, or the plate being a little longer, and using 3 screws instead of the one in the center. Another possible solution would be to use CA glue, or perhaps nail polish or something similar on the ends of the springs to prevent them from working around the retention plate?
So much for high quality, it's still Chinese stuff, something to be said for components that just work and great customer service. Crazy to think that thing was $400
Hey mate have you ever had the problem where you can shift down I have a 4 week shifter and the software doesn't recognise shifting down anymore just up
Hey thanks for the question. Actually no I haven’t seen that. Does it register with your pc controller? Not just the simpro manager? I’m assuming you are saying it not registering with the Sim Pro manager software? Have you recently add new usb devices to your pc? Sometime this will cause weird issues like that. You can also try plugging it straight into the pc USB to test it out of you are using a usb hub atm. Also can go into windows software and select the controller USB as priority. I forget the menu would need to google that one again. Hope this helps man. If not feel out a repair ticket on their Discord page.
@@TJRSIM so it reads the device in the software and was working fine but the other day I was racing and it just stopped gearing down only up. I haven't added anything new I even switched the motherboard part in the middle wasn't that.
