      @@nevetsnonnac3330 Well, USA didn't fall into a giant gold scam. Basically China was important gold on a massive scale when they wanted the make the Yuan replace the US Dollar. Issue was because, it's China, and Corruption is the economy, much of the gold that was brought into China was counterfeit. It's caused a massive loss of faith within China among citizens of the Yuan which was supposed to be backed by that gold. It was one of the primary reason China suffered a lot of bankruns like what last year? or was that the year before? CCP basically shut it down, basically said "not your money no more" and took the life savings of a ridiculous number of it's citizens.
      Basically, you shouldn't be trusting the Yuan, but because China is run by a Single Party Dictatorship that controls most of the Corporations/Banks in China, we don't actually currently know the extent of the damage.

    • @Alte.Kameraden
      @Alte.Kameraden หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nevetsnonnac3330 Basically if my last comment stays visible.. any issue the US Dollar currently has, which is many, pales in comparison to the Yuan or the Ruble currently. Basically likely the most stable Currency right now is the Euro. If we are talking about major currency.
      Ruble has been hyperinflating over the past thirty years. Even after they introduced the New Ruble back in 1998/9, the New Ruble is now back to where the old Ruble was in the 1990s. Slower inflation than what Russia suffered in the 90s but the Ruble is still more comparable today to "American" Cent when it used to be more comparable to the USA Dollar just 30 years ago. That is how unstable the Ruble is. It's inflating at one of the highest if not the highest of all major currencies on the world market. What is funny is Russia is doing exactly what caused the issue the first time because, they didn't know why it happened and are in denial why it happened the first time. They actually blame western markets for it, but inflating your currency isn't caused by foreign markets or exchange rates. It's entirely an internal issue.
      Sadly because of how much State Control China has over it's markets, ie it isn't a free market the Yuan like the Soviet Era Ruble's value is very hard to calculate. It could be Monopoly money right now and we wouldn't even know it. If what came out about it last year is true it's kind of worthless.

      But it wasn’t China itself that intrigued me. Ofcourse there was the economic growth and China’s relationship with the USA
      But more importantly China and its people/companies engagement with SE Asia, which led to Central Asia, then onto Africa, Central/South America etc etc etc

Good thing is, a lot of people still turn to the Dollar because of the safety is somehow assures. USA corn farmers just sold corn to very profitable ethanol producers and then USA exported billions of dollars in ethanol . 😂 Oh my do Chinese nationalists underestimate USA.
      Chinas leaders are confused as USA has never been a big export economy. U.S. companies have always embraced more of global model where they establish production domestically in countries rather than foolishly depending on exports like China . But then USA doesn’t have 1.4 billion people to employ and feed. USA being much wealthier than China and not dependent on exports can take China to the mat in a trade war. US has been manipulated the crop prices for years. And then use taxpayers to subsidize the farmers. Farmers may not even be the right words. They are more like corporation. It is because we control the global market. We can always sell more than we grow. Nowadays we grow more than we can sell because we have been upsetting some of our biggest customers telling them what they can do and what they can't do against their own interests. Instead these farmers have to figure out which crop is more profitable. And feeding ourselves instead of trying to make more profit. But then that would mean helping average people instead of helping the top 2% profit margins.

      Aye, the USDA and their fake "yield forecasts". How did the USDA get the "data" for their "yield forecasts"? They drove by a couple of fields and said "Hey! Looks like we might have more grain this year!". Then "more grain" means "lower prices" and the REAL farmers are forced out of the agriculture business because they do not have the "deep pockets" to acquire multi-year loans for their farming operations.

    I am not knowledgable nor more informative than Kevin but several years ago, I had been suggesting countries like China shud stopped / sold off as much of its holding of US treasury debts as possible. Including converting at least 75% of its massive foreign reserves from USD to a basket of foreign currencies and gold. In short, to diversify as much as possible from using dollar & US controlled banking system. Becoz I had watched with disgust how the US has been using its powerful financial system to blatantly bully smaller & weaker countries all over the world. I am glad the Ukraine war and subsequent sanctioning of Russia & vile "robbing" of hundreds of billion $$ of Russian assets that are held abroad turned out to be the straw that broke the camel's back. It finally made countries all over the world to wake up & realized they are always at risk from the US & its gang of bullies.

      @mattyb1624 @bsmiddy236 No they don't. But a bully will always play the victim when their actual victims fight back. That's why the US goes to the other side of the planet to invade countries, but China and Russia's problems are always on their borders. I wonder why? Maybe is some country that likes to invade countries on the other side of the planet perhaps? Inciting unrest wherever they go like always. You guys talk like the Ukraine,Taiwan and SCS issues weren't completely manufactured by the US. 🙄 Give us a break.
