I recorded the machine room sound for the dry-powered one. It has an incredible motor and startup. If you have discord, I can send you the audio of the machine room sound.
Me & my friend found an original vintage 1970 Otis Freight elevator at where the valet parking lot is at. It’s VERY TEMPTING to sneak a ride on it to be honest. We didn’t chance it since security eventually used it after he got off the regular service elevator which was modded of course. Maybe one day, LOL!
The famous Marriott atlanta is only a short drive from the airport and a reminder south terminal is delta and north terminal is all other airlines also at the Marriott atlanta marquis will have a very interesting system because 42-47 are in the front and 31-41 are in the back also the Marriott atlanta is in the very middle of the Hilton and Hyatt atlanta because it’s more popular and also the guys who work there keep telling you that 31-41 will be the fastest in the entire hotel in which they are but the Hilton atlanta is awsome you have to check that out and the Westin peachtree plaza is just a short walk through a mall and a Marta station and you are there you must knock before you get it and you are then inside take the stairs down to 5 for the sundial
All massive hydraulics are always meant to be slow, like this one. One good explanation is because the motor isn’t meant to be running at higher speeds, but rather at a set speed like power supply energy, hence the 60hz noise it made.
I was at the Yale Peabody Museum in New Haven CT a few days ago! They have two HUGE elevators. One is traction, one is a dry-powered hydraulic.
