These Videos are awesome... I'm an art teacher who is doing a lesson on packaging design.
I show my students that there are a lot of opportunities for the Visual Arts. I often tell them
a creative mind mix with science, engineering and technology can open every door in this life.
Thank you! Keep up the Great work and info... I will share with all my art teacher friends...

Plastics and recyclability? Going to have to call you out on that. Try cheap and light weight.

It's true that plastics are often chosen for their affordability and lightweight properties, which make them popular materials for a wide range of products. However, their recyclability varies depending on factors such as the type of plastic, the infrastructure available for recycling in a particular region, and the market demand for recycled materials.
While some plastics, such as PET (polyethylene terephthalate) used in water bottles, and HDPE (high-density polyethylene) used in milk jugs, are commonly recycled, others, like PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and certain types of polystyrene, can be more challenging to recycle due to their chemical composition or lack of market demand for recycled versions.
Additionally, even though plastics may be technically recyclable, not all of them end up being recycled due to issues like contamination, lack of proper sorting, or inefficient recycling infrastructure. This can lead to plastic waste accumulating in landfills or polluting the environment.
So, while plastics are indeed chosen for their affordability and lightweight nature, their recyclability can vary, and addressing the challenges associated with plastic recycling requires concerted efforts from industry, policymakers, and consumers alike.
