Humanity right after the first contact: I've just met blorbo for a day but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in the universe and myself.
Great story. A different one compared to other writers. The author pointed out the many positive things of humans. It also pointed out how protective we can be and our willingness to sacrifice all for another. Looking forward to another chapter.
Look up "Adopted by humans" it's the same story and has way more. I believe the channel that has it listed as that is HyFy or Syfy stories and last time i listened to a couple chapters it was in the mid-high 20s. Each episode uploaded is about 3 chapters long on the channel.
This is a story that's been around for a while called "adopted by humans" written by Robert Butler. For some reason, I can't find where he has been credited......

Rehashing past stories written by AI with minor differences is the norm. There are only a few stories worth listening to like Terran Contact, The Nature of predators and The Security Officer.
It's an AI reader, who doesn't even check their script after prompting it to the program they did. You think it's gonna give credit? Just do the three dot "don't recommend channel option" it's better for the platform this way. These kinds of people have no passion or compassion. Just looking for easy dopamine through numbers.
That's an interesting question and statement. We can be family with friends with strangers that become close friends, our pets, plants.. it's funny how attached we become.
Very entertaining to say the least. Reminds me of the hours I spent reading all those Sci-Fi short story paperbacks back in the day. I always found something mindful, disturbing, and even thoughtful in those books. Many stories would leave you hanging like this one did. But, there was never a dull moment while reading.
The alien at 9:45 would definitely fit in with humans (and the alien behind it). That thing is super adorable. Like a walking talking hedgehog. Since it is blue, I shall name it Sonic.
Since this is "adopted by humans" written by Robert Butler, you can look that up and find out. This is a great story, read poorly by trash AI with trash AI images playing onscreen.
I enjoyed this story immensely - each time the phrase 'except for the humans' came, I laughed out loud & waited for its next appearance 😁😄 Thank you 💙💚❤️ for all your effort & the time you put in when uploading this. It is really truly appreciated 🙏 The analysis of human behaviour makes me suspect the writer has studied anthropology and extrapolated that into this story
The title is a little misleading, I thought it would be about some orphaned alien adopted by a human family instead it ends up being about a class research project
9:42 as a human, fucking mood tbh 9:57 i can imagine “dream on” by Aerosmith playing over the comms here and everyone in that ship scream singing to the good part lol. Most human shit ever
Feels strange that all of humanity suddenly is androgynous and somehow not removing themselves from the genepool on mass. Maybe they don't touch up on that in class due to how sensitive humans must be about it.
Sound doesn't travel in the void of space so the music should actually a jamming system used to interfere with enemy communications. Trying to understand anything over the sound of death metal is nearly impossible.
What? TH-cam is filled with people taking people's work and repackaging it as their own, for recognition and/or money? No. Couldn't be. Wait, there's a whole series of this already on TH-cam, with better TTS as well: Adopted by Humans?
And the Swiss brought one into battle, just for him to carry ammo boxes for his fellow soldiers. He retired to a zoo and was visited by his whole regiment to share beers and hugs, until his passing of natural causes.
This was a good story and I enjoyed what there was of it. But it seems unfinished to me. It breaks off just as the alien visitors get to Earth. There is no indication that this would be a multi chapter story or that there will be a part two. As it is it just seems unfinished, which is very unsatisfying.
I'm immensely enjoying these stories. For all the carnage associated with space battles, they ultimately show various positive attributes of humanity. That aspect is sorely missing from all of our CCP controlled media sources, especially Hollywood and Disney.
Jesus. Do all these channels use the same one guy's TTS voice? *Please* have some God damned variety and use different voices, even if you just want guys narrating, there have to be hundreds to choose from around somewhere! My phone alone can do 8 British accents, then the American ones, Australian, South African, Indian... although maybe not as fancy as these videos are using some different software, but it's literally the exact same guy's voice on different channels. It just makes all the stories seem like they're all going to be identical and low quality, just not worth the time to listen to because it's a 'crappy one suggested by TH-cam'.
LOts of "ideology" built into this - to an extent that it gets boring - for example - there is no such things as a "gender spectrum" - genders are "what they are" and don;t transition across any "region" . Confusing gender with "sex" doesn't help either as none of it makes sense... just stop it. There is no need to put ideology into stories as it is not only detracting, unhelpful but also misleading. Especially when the story itself (and I have listened to later adaptions, is pretty darn good without the woke bs.

This is a good one! Glad to hear more of the same!

@@chaseviking5096 You mean HFY?
@@protoborg I do believe so. There are so many channels with very similar names/spelling and I see that my comment that gave a link to it was removed.

Yea, and they didn't finish the whole story either.
Yep. Not cool.
For some reason..... lols. Understood and agree
Rehashing past stories written by AI with minor differences is the norm. There are only a few stories worth listening to like Terran Contact, The Nature of predators and The Security Officer.
Casually calls adrenaline as “murder juice”
but is he wrong tho? it's basically homegrown battle-stims
Please give credit to real author of this story, Robert Butler. That's least you can do.

Thanks for pointing that out!
I found it on Amazon and bought the first paperback!
How cool that this is a whole book series? 🤩
This ends on a note suggesting the story will continue - I sincerely hope so! It's well-written and the narration matches.
Look for Adopted by humans. 😊
There's a whole series of this already on TH-cam, with better TTS as well.
Adopted by Humans.
Plus booze hounds sub plot
That's an interesting question and statement. We can be family with friends with strangers that become close friends, our pets, plants.. it's funny how attached we become.
Really liked the little nod to Carl Sagan near the end "a mote of dust suspended in a sun beam" ❤
'When the spirit goes in, the truth comes out' Irish Proverb
"Murder Fuel" I love it!
*lops off arm* HOW DARE YOU *proceeds to assault people with the severed appendage*
Tis just a Scratch!
@nickpossum3607 lol reminds me of Monty python and the holy grail 🤣
It is lol 😂

As soon as he said they started playing music I thought of The Ride of the Valkyrie!

"that dlamisa... is a human's friend!"
I hope there is another chapter for this, good writing and narration; well worth listening to.

Please keep the dog alien away from the internet or he might end up extremely bonded to a human. 😅
Really good.
Ended too soon.... I wanted it to keep going.
Glad I’m not the only one who has trouble telling humans apart.
First for a great Sci Fi story!!!🎉
Glad, you enjoyed! ❤️

Human navy litteraly playing boss music for pirats
@@derkrischa3720 I can totally imagine a bunch of people arguing over what their boss music should be.
No one is acknowledging the die hard reference? 😂
Well written and entertaining, thank you...
The ai narraration is spotty, inconsistent, off intonation, and frustrating. Especially for a good story.
These authors would get better reception for their bodies of work if they had friends narrate them who have good strong speaking voices.
"Murder fuel" Yeah, I'm using that.
OMG I couldn't stop laughing. This was the funnest one yet😂❤😂
This story makes me happy for some reason.
New here. Watched it because I was curious. Very good so I subbed.
Big explosions are the best kind. 🤣🤣😻😻
Is there more of this story? It’s excellent.
I knew this was Bailey’s roots! Awesome! 😊

Awesome.
Please tell me there is more to this story. Would love to hear or even read a whole series about this guy and his 50 years on earth

Nice
God the AI pics are hilarious.
Is there a part 2?
This story reminds me of the russians that have beers with bears.
And the Swiss brought one into battle, just for him to carry ammo boxes for his fellow soldiers.
He retired to a zoo and was visited by his whole regiment to share beers and hugs, until his passing of natural causes.
I want part 2
I know it isn't likely, but this feels like it was only part one! With how that ended.
Homo sapiens sapiens...only thing wrong with this story...nice one.
Missed opportunity to put the fast and furious family on the slide show🤷🏻♂️
