I can buy this ship, but like you said, it's not a great ship so i never did. After the Cobra mark 3, i went for the Asp Explorer and later the Python for multi role. I also have a Diamondback and a Krait Phantom.
I don't have access to the Mk IV, and i don't think they should open up its availability. It was promised as an exclusive, and FDev should continue to honor their promise. Also, it's a terrible atrocity. Faulcon Delacy should be ashamed.

I'd like to keep it exclusive, just so FDev doesn't get bashed for false promises. But they should DEFINITELY make new ships. Or at least new versions of current ships. A Federal Drop Ship that can actually be used as a drop ship?
Cobra Mk IV is the best ship in the game. As for opening it up to everyone? Nah… I like people wishing they could get this ship. They’d only be disappointed anyway lol.
The dev dont care... sad true. So many good opportunities to do something fun, so many good ideas coming from the community, but they don't do anything. Like the powerplay...amazing idea, but in real is almost useless
ive got no clue what ED looks like to FDev, maybe a lost cause or a secondary source of income as their primary income comes from other games... regardless, the devs are not doing much to add content to the game :(
Ah following the tried and tested GTA FOMO nonsense, that should irritate the player base. I liked the Cobra MK3 but never bought the 4 back when I had the option, wow has it been that long since I played this game.
yeah idk what the GTA FOMO is but im guessing that ED didn’t have much FOMO for the MkIV, but you are lucky that you are one of the handful to buy the MkIV
Not all situations are unfair and you are not always entitled to what other people earned or paid for. Consider how the world would look if game developers to de-value their word? That would make people even more untrusting of the games industry. Now, they could bring it back for ARX for about 65 USD and I think no one could say that is not fair.

I disagreed with you about giving ppl access to the MkIV - mainly because it wouldn't be fair to the ppl who were being rewarded for early access... I do agree it's past time for Frontier to give us a couple of new ships! Before that though, i would like to be able to walk around in my ships!

I'd rather buff existing ships like the Lakon Scout, or the Drop series of unusefulness.
