The 9th rocket (Long March 2F - 62m) is missing from the compilation (due to copyright issues) As for the height of the rockets, well... Wikipedia is not enough, the data were collected from various sources.
Joshua Zelinsky Do you know how hard it is to design and build a rocket? N1 was built and launched.... it wasn't successful, but if the Soviets keep on trying it woulded have been successful. If it was launched then it deserves a place in this TOP.
Sure, even building it was very impressive. And I agree that if the Soviets had kept at it the N1 would have had all its kinks ironed out. But it does still seem unfair to the others in the list who were more successful at almost as large.
Joshua Zelinsky Yeah, I see your point....it's hard to make a compromise :) everybody has his own opinion (If I had omitted the N1 from this list, then the Russians would have said that I am pro USA or "racist"). Hope you understand the decision I made.
Most of the footage is old footage. Also, I showed the tallest version of each rocket, so the footage is hard to get because those talles version of each rocket maybe flew just once. Also, I picked videos from the public domain, because of copyright issues.
Where are the Japanese H2A rockets? H2A and H2B are different rockets. Also, H2B does not have type 304. The model name of the Japanese rocket is given only when a derivative type exists. H2B has no derived type, so there is no type name. Even if it is attached, the number of the model name is 204 because the first number is the number of stages, the second number is the number of liquid boosters, and the last number is the number of solid rocket boosters.
Tramseskumbanan Yes you're right...I coudn't find any footage of a Titan 34D launch, that why I used the TItan III....but as you say, Titan III and Titan 34D are very close in design.

Why the obsession of pointing out it failed in every single vidéo about the n1 even though everyone already knows that
Fact: saturn v originally had 4 engines but due to the astronauts “balls”☠️ that had out put 5 engines

so starship double stages are gonna be the tallest? 140m of height is something else..
120 meters*
I will do an update video anyways, to include SLS also.
Quick question why isn’t the titan IIIE Centaur here just asking
Titan IIIE's Centaur stage was enclosed within the fairing, it was moreorless the same height as the other Titan III-derived launchers.
Because it is in the same rocket familly as the Titan 34D rocket, and Titan 34D is taller.
What payload in the Ariane 5 video carry
It's VA237 flight and was carrying ViaSat-2 & EUTELSAT 172B
There will be uptade of this video because some new bigger rockets launched and some get retired?
Yes, in the books for 2024 ;)
