Who said it was outdated? Susan always said that her diet plan wasn't something she created. The government knew that this way of eating and exercising would help people lose weight but they kept it unwraps so they could make money off people with diet scams and products

I reversed my diabetes in 60 days. Zero Sugar, carbs, and dairy. I basically eat vegetables, berries, chicken, fish, steaks, coconut milk, teas, with stevia, and some sparkling water, occasional zero sugar pop. Taking fish oil and a probiotic supplement. I no longer require metformin or jardiance prescriptions. I did reintroduce some carbs like sweet potato on occasion and some dairy like cheese on occasion into my life but at a 1/4 of what I use to intake and monitor my sugars to keep in safe ranges. Life is beautiful you all can do it.

The problem with processed low fat food products is that they add a lot of sugar. Since this video they have also found a way to put all sorts of new chemicals in the food. Whole foods is really the safest way you can go.

You're so right. I remember the low fat craze and it was off the charts. EVERYTHING was low fat/lite. People were gorging on fat free carbs. Funny, we didn't _really_ start all getting fat until GMO foods came onto the market in the late 90s. Once that happened and high fructose corn syrup was in everything, then we all ballooned.

The food on the three tables at the end seems so lacking. Dry toast, dry omlette. Lunch is a sandwich you choke on and bakes tortilla chips. Pass the water. Dinner is dry grilled chicken and potato stuffed with water "sauteed" vegetables. Instead of high volume, low fat she should stick to lowish volume food with some carbs, proteins and fats. Of course a huge bowl of granola and two donuts with icing will make you fat and it's not even the fat, it's the carbs!

I admit that PAM cooking spray is basically all fat.. but your using only a .5 second spritz on a frying pan.. At only 4 calories a serving.. You have to draw the line somewhere... I can understand cooking oils are all fat.. but slurping a few tablespoons of oil into a frying pan... and likely 40 to 75 calories... it makes PAM a viable alternative!
Regarding the egg issue.. yes.. taking the yokes out is great.. but I for one am not a fan of straight egg whites.. If your going to make French Toast.. my idea is this... One whole egg and then 3 egg whites mixed with low fat milk.. It tastes almost the same as French toast that is made with one egg for each slice of bread...
    WATER...!
Yes... it's part of dieting.. and yes.. you can drink as much as you like or as little as you like. What a lot of people do not know is that you get most of your water and liquid intake from the food you eat. Still, drinking 4 to 8 eight ounce glasses of water on a daily basis is not a bad place to start...
    MILK!
Now for those that like 2% milk there is not much that you can do... And while Susan is correct that its 32% fat per serving.. 1% is 22.5% fat... I know she steers viewers to the fat free option.. but I have never been able to stand skim milk! so I am willing to go with "low-fat" 1% in my daily intake!

Well I did her program back in the 90s and lost 30 pounds in 2 months with no problem whatsoever. It was extremely easy ...
now I'm trying a little bit of keto.. mostly intermittent fasting but the keto doesn't seem to be working... I love the fasting... I know that Atkins diet squeezes every ounce of water out of your cells and makes you feel like you're losing weight but you're actually dehydrated.. I'm thinking now that keto might be the same but I'm still going to try and see how I feel about it.... the only thing to do is experiment yourself

Susan also said that "fat makes you fat."
      No.
Starch makes you fat. (fat is mostly about calories.)
"Well, don't calories make you fat?"
      ...

Have a burger and a salad.
      Neither are inherently wicked.

Aaron Creagh have you ever heard of Dr MC Dougalls diet "the starch solution"? People have lost tons of weight on that diet eating almost nothing but starches. Google the before and afters. The truth is that you can eat a low fat diet and lose weight..... And you can eat a low carb diet and lose weight. Boils down to which way you prefer.

For people saying this is wrong, it may be wrong to you now. It wasn’t wrong during the 90’s. Besides, Susan’s funny. I loved watching this on vhs when my mom borrowed it from her friend. Also, today we have plant only, climate change obsessed liberals who deprive themselves of treats. It’s about moderation, not diet or punishment.

I can believe it. It's the disingenuousness of skinny celebrities that bugs me more than the "sin" of using drugs.

If you ate like this broad you’d be 300 lbs in a few months.
