That's dedication for you Gary! It all turned out well though! Incidentally, three months ago I took a photo of an old timber pier in Leith, Edinburgh. It was not until I began processing the photo that I saw a figure at the far end of the jetty. It turned out to be one of Antony Gormley's sculptures.

Great shots Gary! I've never seen a statue like that and combining it with moody weather and blurry water looks super interesting. You were definitely rewarded for working in those crazy weather conditions.

Another top video. IT's such a good feeling on a shoot when it comes together. I had a similar idea with the ship in the background when I went there but couldn't frame tightly enough and it lacked the impact of your shot. Less is more as I continue to find out. I think there are some great opportunities to be had in the rain particularly in the cities which seem to sparkle when its wet. Keep up the great work and look forward to the next vlog.

Epic. Such a refreshing take on it. The ships 🚢 in the background dragging across the frame works so so well. I went here in November time with the little ones in tow, and it was raw then. Great installation though! Love Gormleys sculptures. Birmingham my home town are in the process of lending The Iron man out, but that's nothing on these. Would love to see them with underwater camera too. Angel of the North next? 👌

Hi Gary, you are right, the slow shutter shots were really artistic, whereas the "normal" shutter speed exposure shots were "throwaway". I can't get near F36 on my kit, F22 is my limit, but even that is extreme.

I never normally shoot at F22 let alone F36. I had to slow the shutter down as you saw in video. No point putting ND filters on with that rain. 👍
I was hoping for more new UK vlogger recommendations. For some reason I just can't get away with overseas vlogs

Get rid of that strap, and get one from Peak Design or Black Rapid. Both are easily removed for when your camera is on a tripod.
