    Btw your look reminds me of a young Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin), OG Rock Star and mystical at the same time, it fits you well :)

    I feel like this explains quite a bit about my situation. I am excited to watch and learn more about Lady Luna. Thank you, Dustin, for making that possible. :)

    Thanks, it's very interesting. I call my exalted Moon (in Taurus) my Hobbit side (Sam Wise Gamgee style): Loving the simple & small things in life, the good comfort of home and tasty food (no need for fancy stuff), enjoying nature (the more i age), being content with little hence not chasing wild careers/ambitions that consume, waste and ruin lives, still feeling some ground in the biggest storms, being very nurturing towards myself as well as towards the ppl i really care about, genuinely & selflessly.
    Getting older i realize more clearly that a Taurus Moon and in the House dealing with partnerships overall is a big help with big struggles about connections, esp as a Scorp rising bc it feels like we can never catch a real break. For too long i had overlooked the Moon placement's importance compared to Rising and Sun ones, a BIG mistake bc the more i age the more my Moon's influence grows and in a positive way compared to my Sun sign, grateful bc these past few years have been the most unstable and difficult, so if i had a very weak Moon i honestly don't think i'd still have good mental and physical healths.
    Side note: I'm sorry to say that Every single Scorpio Moon person i've encountered/dealt with in Life (so far) is a walking red flag, hence a big Stay the F away from me/my loved ones, the more smooth, charming, successful the more Two Face/toxic they truly are.
    I was explained Taurus Moon people can see through Scorpio Moon people easily bc we're the opposite sides of a magnet (for ex: we love clarity with a big C, whereas Scorp Moons love & fuel confusion). As a Scorpio rising i get along well & without effort with other Scorpios (except if they're toxic), but Scorpio Moons are always the exception.

      I relate to the love for the homeliness and nature :) I’m also Taurus moon. I could live in the shire ahhh~~
      I differ a bit though in that i like luxurious things and the idea of being very wealthy and material comforts as well :D
      In contrast to you, i always want MORE. More delicious yummy things in life, the simpler ones as well as the big extravagant ones 🎁

    This was a great video, I often put more emphasis on my Sagittarius Moon rather than my Scorpio Sun as it helps me complete goals and make the most out of every day.

    Just cried watching this lol. I have a Scorpio moon and resonate with the fact that I have a narrow scope of the love I think I deserve and feel threatened by the love I believe to be worthy of. I fear true vulnerability not because I don’t think my loved ones deserve to know me, but because of the belief that knowing me, to this extent, is burdensome? I seek to keep everyone happy even if it means I suffer for withholding my truth… for I feel I am not worthy of compassion. What some may see as semi- minuscule emotional endeavors (especially within a romantic relationship) are very emotionally taxing because I feel and intuit the feelings/actions of the other very deeply, in hopes of justifying the vagueness from the lack of my capacity to express freely, with no inhibitions. I suggest to be discerning but somewhat forgiving of the nature of a Scorpio moon person. I believe they tend to create their own complex emotional hell because they can’t help but to feel so deeply and not know how to articulate it; as well as struggling to assess their emotional needs. In this case I think it’s easy to conflate selfishness with self preservation, by fear of destruction. Thank you Dustin, I am looking very forward to this moon series. Peace and love to the reader

    Hey Dustin, I recently watched a video on the 8th house by BR Taylor where he says that planets in the 8th house generally have more influence than the ruler of that sign. Have you read about this theme anywhere?

    • @HowtorockAstrology
      @HowtorockAstrology  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hmmm... More influence on the 8th house themes you mean?
      So like, planets falling in the 8th have more '8th house energy' than the 8th lord?
      Haven't really heard that and wouldn't really quantify it that way... They all add up to one's 8th house energy. To me it wouldnt matter what's producing more or less of it, it is all one.
      Either way if you have 8th house planets they will be something to watch for in respect to 8th house energy, hut so will the 8th lord and whatever it is tied to.

      @@HowtorockAstrology The answer to both your questions is yes. I had to go back and watch it cause I was thinking it was over the chart in general. He was using it to predict the method of death. I have the moon in Leo in the 8th in a night chart and it would have made it real interesting if he meant influence over the chart in general. It was still nice to get your perspective on 8th house energy thank you.
      Regarding the moon and what you said about it being the first year of life last night I had some breakthroughs in this area. The Baby hippo gone viral Moo Deng popped up on my feed, it was respectfully being petted by its handler. I noticed my thoughts of wanting to be violent towards the defenseless creature and I know it is because my mother was violent with me as a defenseless infant. I acknowledge that I need help.

    What about moon is in scorpio 12th house which is also the house of ketu which is compatible with scorpio.I got this placement.

    • @HowtorockAstrology
      @HowtorockAstrology  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldnt necessarily say Ketu resonates with Scorpio, texts disagree on the matter and i'm of the opinion that Ketu/Rahu doesnt pick favorites, like the outer planets, their strength has everything to do with their lords.
      Ketu does also depend on the strength of Mars, just as Rahu also depends on the strength of Saturn; that's partly where the idea of a resonance with scorpio / Aquarius comes from.

    Hey Dustin! A long time watcher of your channel here (i’ve gone before by the name of Ylva, thought you might remember since you were so nice to look up the pronunciation XD)
    I’m so thrilled to see a moon series! Ahhhhhhh❤❤ I am about to shift from my Sun mahadasha into my Moon mahadasha in early 2025 and i’m sooo ready to work with my moon energies and enrich my life even more 🍇🍷
    My moon is in Taurus in the 11th, gonna scoop up all info i find from your videos. You know, i reaaally felt those lines you wrote at the beginning of the powerpoint, “this sign is the only source of my happiness” & “i want the world to shower me with this”. As a Taurus Moon (and 11th house aspects of gains?), the desire i have for luxury and comforts and beautiful and delicious Venusian things is SO intense. I am someone who reallyyy juices out satisfaction from all things lovely in life, and yet I used to feel so much frustration for “not having enough” and i NEVER felt like i had enough. Don’t get me started on the lack of love i felt in past romantic relationships, starving for my soul-needs to be met. (A Moon-Venus trine i guess🥲).
    But surrounding myself with an abundance of wonderful friends and sharing love with them has always come easy ❤ I also love myself a great deal now so i know the loving partner will come along too. As for my essential earthly pleasures, i’ve become a much better manifester while sitting pretty & relaxed and being content in the present :) Life feels good.
    Still looking forward to more and more deliciousness tho 🤤 The desire is almost gluttonous you know, sorta Dionysian O.O
    I know the placement being in the 11th house (strongest upchaya) probably means i shall be showered in goodies the older i get so yayyy for me, UNIVERSE LET IT RAINNN 🍾
    {For more context, i’m Cancer Ascendent so the moon stuff might be tied to my sense of Self, a Venus atmakaraka, Venus in Capricorn to throw in some earthy saturnian primal grittiness for good measure, and a Pisces Sun. So a very very feminine configuration overall 😂}
    EDIT: also wanted to mention, you are so beautiful.❤ Keep up the good work 😊

    Moon in Virgo and Gemini above average but in Libra below ? That doesn't make sense. Mercury isn't compatible with the Moon at all. Processing information and feeling emotions are two completely different things. Libra's venus rulership is always better than the mercurial one of Virgo and Gemini.

    • @HowtorockAstrology
      @HowtorockAstrology  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Vedic astrology has an ancient system of categorizing compatibility between planets that is based on mathematics, not ideas.
      I understand your thought here, but I encourage you to think beyond what you have come to understand.
      Mercury isn't just about processing information, it is closely related to the cerebral and neurological operation of the nervous system. Our nervous system's first response often reveal more to us about ourselves and our souls that the western world gives it credit.
      Venus is emotional in a different way than the moon. They are similar, and the moon doesn't have venus for an enemy so it is ultimately neutral. But Libra is an active/odd/air sign, and thinks more about social interaction than what is natural to the soul.
      I'm speaking in semantics here myself, to get us thinking outside the box; but really the main dynamics of compatibility listed in this video come from ancient Vedic jyotish categorization.
      So at some level, it comes down to the authority you trust :)
      I applaud you for thinking out loud here though, I think your intention here is open mindedness, which I am here for.

      Vedic or western, the association between friendly and unfriendly planets remains the same.
      Ketu, Jupiter, Moon and Mars are all friendly planets amongst one another.
      Same for Rahu, Mercury, Saturn and Venus.
      That's basic knowledge tbh and you can see in practice: Gemini and Virgo moons have a lot harder time to properly process and express emotions than Sag, Pisces and to a degree Libra.

    • @HowtorockAstrology
      @HowtorockAstrology  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aymaronana9734 Hmm, well I'm not sure where you get your friendship orientations for the Vedic tradition. In Vedic, it comes from the relationship of ruling signs to each planet's Mulatrikona.
      Most Vedic friendship-enemy derivations are different from what you've outlined here, although perhaps there are traditions I haven't obsered, I certainly don't claim to be an encyclopedic authority here.
      I have actually never heard of the West having "friendships and enemies" between planets, i'm curious what source or tradition that information comes from.
      Not even to challenge i'm just genuinely curious, as i've never heard it.
      I've never heard rahu and letu involved either as they aren't actually planets with qualities, but are rather mathematical points.
      I'm just playing Devil's avocado here with you my friend, as the kids say; it could be simply a cultural misunderatanding we're experiencing here.
      -----------------------
      In a sense i'd say you're right that regardless of west vs east, there's probably only one truth.
      My point is that Vedic tradition, so far as i've seen, is the only one that regards friends vs enemy planets; i'd go so far to say the west simply let go of it over time (that's why people say vedic is more 'fatalistic,' for better or worse).... And in most traditions i've seen, it is not what you've outlined here.
