Wild Orchid was a fabulous group of female vocalists. Renee is my cousin and she and her family (all musicians) live in California. Unfortunately, she no longer sings professionally, but does real estate now. They are a wonderful and talented family!
Wild Orchid was a trio of woefully underrated artists with an incredible gift for song writing, harmonies and powerhouse vocals--but that wasn't all. They were (and still are!) drop dead gorgeous and absolutely charismatic. It's a shame they fell under the radar of so many, but their considerable talent and music will live in perpetuity.
The vocality of these ladies instruments (voices) was phenomenal. They had their own sound. Soulful, sultry, and just plain good! I miss true R & B, miss real love songs. Now the lyrics are so dang nasty they are just offensive. Who wants to make out to that?! Everyone sounds the same or like Beyonce. Miss these ladies together.

Fun Fact: Wild Orchid and I were signed to the same record label in the late 90's. RCA records. I was slated to be a competitor against Boys to Men and other rnb performers but the label eventually dropped me because they didn't know where to place my sound as I was more rock and alternative.

John Legend also co-wrote and produced Finally. Anyhow, it was the closest thing to Wild Orchid Fergie has done.
