Drive to Athirapally-Vazhachal-Charpa, to catch the best of Kerala's adorning rivers, forests, and great waterfalls! Athirapally, housing the largest waterfalls of Kerala, is one of the major tourist destinations of the region. A trip to Athirapally Waterfall can be coupled with other sightseeing attractions such as Vazhachal Falls (about 5km from Athirapally), Sholayar Dam, Charpa Waterfalls and Chalakudy river, which is home to many endemic species of freshwater fish.
This is located in the Thrissur district of Kerala, at about an hour from the Cochin International Airport. The roar of the mighty falls, its gushing water, and meandering streams are an iconic must-see attraction of Kerala. The forest embracing the waterfalls is home to exotic flora and fauna. The swollen Chalakkudy river, Charpa, Vazhachal, and Athirapally are ideal places where the monsoon is to be enjoyed.

I have been to Niagara, and I'm sure you haven't been to Athirapally.
This is awesome... Many people tend to glorify what other countries have and especially when u have such beauties in ur courtyard... We don't need to compare as we have everything enough within us in gods own country.. I can't complain.. The life we are living here is the dream of billions.. 👍👌🤗

Athirappally is the Pride of Kerala.. All Maniratnam films location.. But unfortunately , a DAM is going to be constructed for electricity by KSEB. Destroying all this nature.
