Munnar derived its name from the confluence of three mountain streams, the Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. This spectacular hill station perched 1600m above sea level was the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government. Currently, this destination is one of the most sought after honeymoon destinations in Kerala. The rain washing over the valleys, the sprawling tea plantations, winding roads, and the forest is an arresting sight. Watch this video when the hill station gets its first spell of showers.
