The Periyar forests of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. I' ve been to Thekady many times from 1969 to 2017. a very special world of its own kind created by mother nature & gifted to us to protect it ; to save the region from degradation. Shrinking lake and ever increasing settlements & business establishments in the surrounding areas & market places have been a matter of concern for me ; it will ruin the environment around Thekady if not guarded against.

I.visited.thekkady.in.the.month.of.may..last.week.2018.very.very.lovely.place.to.visit.and.lovely.place.of.spices.gardens.and.beautiful.perriar.tiger.reserve.and.lake.with.boating.experience.very.lovely.there.are.many.hand.made.handicrafts.shops.of.woodens.and.metals.items.to.be.purchase.for.entire.life.relics.interestingly.one.can.enjoy.elephants.ride.here.in.thakkadys.elephants.and.spices.garden.

Kerala Tourism , I have visited many national parks like Sunderbans, Garumara, Manas, Jaldapara, Singalila, Doors, Kulik etc. But Peryar is one of the great national parks. It looks like paradise and natural beauty very nice.
