I am new to dashboards and have to make one for my apprenticeship, I tried your tip of copying shapes from Excel to sheets, however it does not seem to work. I click copy in excel and then paste in sheets however the results are blank - do you know why this is happening?
Thanks for the feedback. Make sure that you don't have any cells copied. Any local Google Sheets copies overwrite the memory slot, which you want allocated for the excel elements. In other words, try closing the Google Sheet and re-opening it again. Once it's open, boot up your Excel workbook and try copying it. If it doesn't work, let me know and we'll try to figure out something else.

I am dealing in education and am interested in a Dashboard like this for Parents to see their student(s) data. I wonder if it could be manageable even when dealing with 100's of students? I also wonder if a paywall could be introduced for access? Thank you for your advice as I continue to hunt for the best solution!
