2:11... "Click 'View', 'Show' and disable Gridlines" I've been wanting to know how to do this for ages! It should be the default when filling the background cell colours like in Excel, in my opinion. Thanks!
what is lookup formula for category type?not able to see
Hi,how did copy the merged columns?
thank you
you deserved a million subs!... for me, this video is a golden nuggets !
14:11 15:14
I love the way you used the helper row. Thank you!
That shows Google has a lot to do to catch up the advanced features of MS excel 😢. A lot of manual work and when you had to paste all of the pivot tables to the same dash page for the slicers … it could be better but it is what it is 🥴🥴🥴
Hi! I have a question, how do you call "debt", a expenditure or an income?
You have wasted time , why we made pivot tables in another sheet ,thenn we had to change again dashboard sheeet
what is the shortcut for selecting the cells around the table?
Masterpiece!!
Sveiki. Parasiau jums zinute i messenger, turbut ikritus i spam
Thank you very much. So clear and easy to learn <3
Where you used a Text Box to add the chart title 'CITY ORDER HISTORY', you can instead merge the cells and then type in the text in the merged cells. Output will be the same but that way you will be able to edit the content later.
Absolute banger!!
great tutorial
Wonderful, thank you
sir can you make a video on bookkeeping of accounts in Google sheets
are you copy pasting pivot tables from pivot table sheet to dashboard as values or pivot table? If you are doing it as values, how this dashboard can be dynamic when the data is static?
I'm copying them as pivot tables, otherwise it would be as you said.
Does the dashboard update with new data entries or its just static?
It's live. Whatever new data is populated in the data table, Google Sheets automatically updates all related pivot tables and their linked visualizations.
Very good. But probably if I am using Google Sheets it is because I don't have Excel 😅
That is a very good point 😅 Although the elements can be copied from anywhere, doesn't have to be Excel.
how to query from multiple sheets ?
This is brilliant! Thanks for sharing. Is it possible to use something like this as a client dashboard? I am dealing in education and am interested in a Dashboard like this for Parents to see their student(s) data. I wonder if it could be manageable even when dealing with 100's of students? I also wonder if a paywall could be introduced for access? Thank you for your advice as I continue to hunt for the best solution!
Thanks for reaching out. Drop me a line at my email and we'll continue from there. makunadata@gmail.com
Thanks sir for teaching lots of things 🙏🇮🇳
Очень хорошее видео. Наверное такая работа стоит не менее 1000 $
The other day I tried to go to a small dusty town about an hour away from my home. They refused me entry when I asked why they said,’ 37:40 .‘
lol
I'm having trouble inserting slicers. If I filter a value in the slicer, it filters those rows from the sheet and affects the charts in the sheet. Please help.
.
.
Can I lock the charts to prevent movement to other place.
Soylent Green : What is good for people, is people ;) and I am upset that I did not hear one kurwa once or a can of beer opened !!! work looks fantastic, will come back here druga
Thank you friend. The reason why you didn't hear any kurwa's is simple - I'm not polish, just your northern neighbor :)
@@MaKuData oh you are from srbija? nema problema :) hey i am going to be a data analyst, starting my education end of summer. any recommendations what to learn now before it starts, u know I want to focus now. excel/goo.sheets -> sql -> tableau/powerBI -> python is that correct? peace
Love it! More tutorials please. Learning a lot !
Thanks. More coming in!
Thanks for the video. Your demonstration is phenomenal !!
Appreciate the kind words!
Nice desing. ¡Great Job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Try to figure out how to create a map geo chart in google sheet and then I found this video. It is very useful! Thank you for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Great. I learned a lot from this✨️
Glad it was helpful!
I was looking for actual interaction like multimedia, where it moves with mouse over.
This sort of interaction can only be observed when hovering the mouse over the visualizations. It will display the exact data labels and points hover over.
thank you..looking forward to learn more from you
My pleasure and stay tuned for more!
need more google sheets tutorial like this. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Hello, I discovered your channel last night and think it’s very informative, keep up the good work! I am new to dashboards and have to make one for my apprenticeship, I tried your tip of copying shapes from Excel to sheets, however it does not seem to work. I click copy in excel and then paste in sheets however the results are blank - do you know why this is happening?
Thanks for the feedback. Make sure that you don't have any cells copied. Any local Google Sheets copies overwrite the memory slot, which you want allocated for the excel elements. In other words, try closing the Google Sheet and re-opening it again. Once it's open, boot up your Excel workbook and try copying it. If it doesn't work, let me know and we'll try to figure out something else.
@@MaKuData thank you :)

Can this method be applied to google sheets?
Depends on the method you're referring. I'd recommend checking out my other videos where I specifically work with Google Sheets.
Awesome content! More google sheets dashboard please. 😊
You skipped over he most important and interesting part. How did you determine the X/Y coordinates. You just "prepared them" how? Trial and error on the live map?
Exactly. 1. I paste the whole scaled map, the same size as I want it to be in the visualization. 2. On top of the map, I paste over the bubble chart with 4 color points to have distinct colors. 3. The 10/10 on the X/Y axes at the bottom are there to set the upper limit of the scale (so it goes from 0 to 10) 4. The -5 does the same thing, determines the lower limit. 5. For each city, I just keep increasing the value on one axis, until it reaches the correct position, then I do it for the other axis. 6. Rinse and repeat for all points.
can you provide videos for this pls? thank you
