Christian Hörgren is an architect in Sweden's capital, Stockholm. When he is not building houses he is building fly rods under his brand name Fine Tackle. In his small studio in the center of Stockholm, Christian Hörgren builds fibre glass rods that have made a name for themselves around the world. His design is very minimal and classically Scandinavian, yet inspired by Japanese design. He has fans all around the world that cherish his custom made fly rods. We met Christian Hörgren of Fine Tackle in Stockholm to talk about how he got into rodbuilding, where he sees his way of building rods go in the future and which tendencies and design schools influence his work.
