This might not be the best place for this but I have no where else to vent right now. A month and a half ago my mom was diagnosed with three different types of stage 4 cancer. I was sitting in a detox in south Florida when I found this song and balled my eyes out. I just found out 20 minutes ago that shes gone. I’m glad I was able to give her the peace to see me sober before she passed but I’m so mad at myself for not doing so sooner. I’m writing this as I’m on the way to see her body for the final time. I love you mom. May you rest in peace and be free of pain. I promise me and my brother will make you proud.

The raw emotions I can feel and hear just tug on my heartstrings. I've played this song for my sisters a few different times and they cry as well. We lost our mom the day before Easter in 2019 along with our grandma because the man my grandma thought she loved for 17 years decided to take their lives. So many people pass away and no matter how it happens, it's still so traumatic. You guys are such strong people and I've listened to your music since the Bastards era. I've loved every song I have listened to, but this is one is the most relatable. It's so emotional and heartbreaking yet also calming. Thank you guys for this masterpiece.
