They do sound a bit like Drain STH, too. But Drain wasn't grunge. They were years later. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Veruca Salt, Silverchair, BUSH, Alice in chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots... these were grunge. Of course, we just called it alternative rock back then. Grunge somehow became a subgenre of alt. rock.
