Thanks for the review!Got the X100 and it is indeed a nice and light guitar, Can't say anything else about the Jackson as I never tried it but in this test they both sounded ok. I like the ergonomics of the Cort- it simply wants to craddle in my lap like some kind of cat, dunno... and the pickups are pretty hot too although mid-boosted a bit.I like the way harmonics sound on this. Can confirm trem arm is like those on Squier strats- in fact it is pretty similar in construction too. Mine has a nice setup , low action and no fretbuzz. The back of the neck feels a bit strange though- it is that ultra-thin lacquer that you either love or hate. I did put a lot of fretboard conditioner on the whole thing- open pore and all- now smells nice and the neck is slicker.
This channel definitely deserves more subscribers! I'm interested in the Cort guitar precisely for the purpose you mention in the video, solar! Thanks for the review :D
I really appreciate that you talk about the neck, I have just watched 2 videos of yours and you have mentioned the neck feel, for me, that’s 99% of the guitar, that’s were we spend the time on, I don’t care too much about sound, with todays processors you can get awesome sound and pick ups are easy to swap, you don’t buy a guitar thinking on swapping the neck, that’s half the guitar !! Anyways, keep always talking about the neck feel, most guitar reviewers just do sound comparisons and left that very important information out
I do owned a JS22. Great guitar. The pick up is high output. Makes a great metal riff.. But might get X100 for my collection as there's a cheap 2nd hand on sale.
Just do it dude ;-) The X100 will provide a different tone so you can have a wider choice (depending on the genre you're playing). Thanks for passing by.
