@@SifuSergioChannel thank you very much. Is there a list with the seminar dates on the homepage? I can only find old seminars. I am looking forward to it
@@slimsady1852 We are in the process of making a new website especially for the Eternal Spring institute, but I always announce my seminars on my social media pages, Check my Instagram. Some seminars are closed but all my open seminars are advertised in advance on Instagram.
I think I can see the subtle but logical difference in the duration for which the force (+/ve or -/ve) is applied without committing the initiator to what comes next. Clever concept grounded in the application of an impulse (time-limited) rather than brute force which can be detected and taken-advantage of by the opponent. Timing is everything. Nice.
If you are are really seized, or if REAL issuing is performed, there is no way you can do anything about it even if you detect it. Your motor ability is completely overridden, taken under control. It is not about tricks & timing.
@@alexi9108 I don't disagree. I meant that prolonged issue or seizure would result in push and pull and being fast (timing) does not give the opponent the opportunity to react.
At the moment small group and private lessons can be booked with me, and of course you can come to the Events at the institute which are always announced on social media “instagram and Facebook” regular classes are maybe planned for the future depending on several things. You could start learning online with me and then come for private or small group lessons once in a while
Sifu with all the respect,Chu Shong Tin also used internal mechanics, but he was a Direct student of Ip man and the SLT he practiced on was different from the one you teach now days,So whats the point of the small change of the movements in the form, while the essence remains the same? What is lost in history its not the correct movements of the form but the way/idea of training. My point of view with all the respect again.
The internal mechanics from CST he did not learn from Ip Man let that be clear, he was a great man and wonderful personality he just did what he could with his sources to restore what was once there. Nowadays we have a much clearer picture where all came from and the older sets and yes the way of cultivation to develop the engine is certainly the most important
THAT is what you think pushing and pulling is ? a half-assed lap sao with bad mechanics and... pushing a forearm ? lol, you can't be serious... I'm not even criticizing the famous duck walk demonstrated at 1:48 because all demo subjects in so-called internal martial arts use that trick. That's just a standard at this point.
Experience in real life before you judge, energy does not lie and the internals at play can’t be understood from just watching a video what you are doing is presuming and judging something from your own point of view and skill level you are at. Obviously you are not into real internal arts and have not experienced it so until the time of direct experience occurs for you keep your negative energy away.
@@SifuSergioChannel I am criticizing the part about the external stuff. That's what I know. You wanted to compare external vs internal, and you gave horrible example of the external, that was my point. I said I wasn't criticizing the part about the internal stuff, precisely because I was expecting that type of circular reasoning that leads nowhere in the discussion. But I'd like to add: do you really expect blind faith for the internal ? and for you, anything less than blind faith is "negative energy" ? I've been in martial arts for years and never experienced internal force that makes me walk like a duck, is saying it spreading "negative energy" ?
No. It is pushing, very short range pushing, nothing internal about it. He cannot detect it, because your move is subtle when they have no grounded balance at all since the stand upright standing on needles, their heels, as you pointed in the beginning. Secondly, by not extending your arms, he gets no chance to pull you. Like slightly pushing a door, yet the range of the door's movement seems big, though it corresponds to the slightest push. Thirdly he postures his arms stiffly (like a mok jong..!) and they act like a spring as you slightly push them. -Deception many times creates deceivers that lie thinking they are saying the truth... And that's the good case scenario... The bad case scenario is lying on purpose to make more naive students and money.
@@canyouhandleit6718 There is no pushing, it’s Ging (Jin) from the Dan Tien through the limbs, the point of contact should never be the point of application of force (that would be a push) the limbs are relaxed and just transmitting (The power source is the Dan Tien)
I am 100% not mixing you might want to read my book, “The History of Wing Chun & The Six Core Elements” the internals demonstrated here come from Fujian White Crane and Emei Shi Er Zhuang. Or see the 2 History Videos on Wing Chun here on my channel

That's basically Tai Chi seizing (Na Jin) into Wing Chun striking. Best of both worlds!
Good stuff
Thank you
