I’ve been slowly dying little by little as I wait for the official official super-deluxe remaster, which is supposed to include _Machina II_ as well… rumor has it the music has been ready for years 😩
I love Melissa's playing. She brings a hammer and thud to the sound of the song. Jimmy is money as usual. James' is spot on. Billy is Billy, which is a good thing. RaWk On!
Jimmy @ 2.08 min = omfg...what the fuck? one of my favourite drummers ever...and of course, billy corgan one of my favourite songwriters ever....damn how i miss smashing pumpkins live!!!
just always have your hi hat foot keep the beat during the entire song. this is the first song i ever played perfectly on drums. its a sentimental favorite haha
@NYver4get Check out his performance at the metro during the pumpkins last 2000 performance when they performed an ode to no one. Seriously, he brought the house down.
I agree and here Billy Corgan reminds me the singer of an animated band hiting strong here in Italy not being a million dollar production. Search for SWAVE IN THE FUTURE
And the crowd goes wild! Or not... How could you not be completely charging about to this? Damn kids! I will be when they do it at Leeds... God damn them, they better do it at Leeds...
I think it was probably well intended for the reasons you specified but sometimes, you just want the music to convey the ferocity and you'd like to see the musicians performing without all the jittery stuff.
@alpha771 SP's live sound _always_ depended on Jimmy to fill out, I mean they were awesome live but on a recording a song like this with the guitars tuned to C doesn't really work live. Too much space between the guitars and Billy's tone.
I loved that album, still don't know why many fans wasn't please by it.

Powerhouse on the drums. Jimmy is a killer.

2:20- Billy chuckles at jimmy's mess up. Love me some of that bass
I've watched this footage for almost 20 years and always saw it as Billy loving Jimmy's improv fill, which is completely in time and spot on.
@garrethboland 20 years non stop? That's dedication!
Fucking great the voice of B.C
HORRIBLE camera work!!!, great performance though, love melissa, am I the only one who thinks Jimmy Chamberlin is not human? WTF!!!! amazing!
I agree and here Billy Corgan reminds me the singer of an animated band hiting strong here in Italy not being a million dollar production. Search for SWAVE IN THE FUTURE

@GodOfCynicism Insightful comment there, also, fucking awesome screenname.
What an awesome track, that the SP enjoy playing too! Shame about the camera work and crowd though.
i wonder why D'arcy wasnt on this smashing pumpkins resurrection in the early 2000s, hmmm let me guess, maybe because she was on a rehab as usual.
And the crowd goes wild!
Or not...
How could you not be completely charging about to this?
Damn kids!
I will be when they do it at Leeds...
God damn them, they better do it at Leeds...

out of all the ones from this show, this is the only song that sounds bad. the sound guy was off for this song.

i think its E flat.
because its boring playing the same songs the same over and over.
