- Gladys Knight brought me to tears with her rendition of "O Holy Night" at the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago at the Christmas Glory show in 1999. Backing her is the church musicians and the Chicago Sinfonietta Orchestra.

Sorry for the late reply but I am just curious what is your basis for telling she's underrated. Something in her caliber shouldn't be called one. Even most of the best artists in the industry respect her so much, she even influenced Mariah. A 10-time grammy awardee and an inductee of Rock and Hall of Fame and even listed for the greastest singers of all time in the Rolling Stones magazine. She was and won't be underrated at all.

Same with Donna, although she was put back in the minds recently with different remix projects. Gladys has less than 3M montly listeners on Spotify. That is just criminal .
We know they both influenced so many artists, and they are both respected and seen as legends, but i'm not talking about 'the' industry'. I'm talking about the General Public

It's just we are flooded with new genres and styles of music and people tend not to bother looking back. I am from generation Z myself from Philippines (20 years old) but I am always fond of listenind and even introducing these amazing artists to my friends.

I once saw her in concert unable to speak she was so horse but she sang down glory then too.
