This was the custom because the church did not have the equipments or laptop to record and store messages so her phone was used. I turned to see the lady in tears holding her cheeks in pain. I knew from that day I wasn't meant to be there under his covering.
Like someone who constantly falls into a habit he can put himself under an oath with God that if he dared do that thing again so so thing bad should happen to him. So when ever the temptation comes and remember the oath that will propel him not to do it.

Thank God for you sisters. This is a good topic worthy of discussion. I just want to add one or two things. 1. Anointing according to the holy Bible is the indwelling of the holy Spirit. The presence of the holy Spirit in the life of a Christian makes the difference in our disposition and demeanor whether in public or in private. I quite disagree that a person having the presence of the Holy Spirit (anointing in this context) can misbehave or have character flaws. It is either the Spirit of God has left the person and what we have left is a cover up. This is the most dangerous area to be. This was what happened in the case of Saul the first king in Israel. At the point of his appointment, he had the spirit of God, but along the line, the spirit departed from him. God is ever ready to restore anyone who comes to Him in sincerity of heart. 2. Once annointed is not forever anointed. Anointing can dry up! What does that suggest? Having anointing is not enough, daily consecration, re-anointing is very very important if we want to have continued relationship with God. However, the terrifying part is that a person who has lost the in dwelling of the holy Spirit can still be physically active in the things of God when he/she knows that the spirit is no longer there. Now, a young believer must be at alert to spot such people in the fold and pray for their restoration and again be aware that some can be like that in the fold who have sold their hearts to the devil. The Bible is expressly clear on this, 'by their fruits you shall know them', and strongly recommends that we stay away from such people (1 Corinthians 5:11( KJV)). In summary, The Bible is always our standard. Jesus is still the author and the finisher of our faith. It is true that we can easily be influenced by our spiritual Heads because we believe they carry the presence of God. However, never be caught up in the web of placing your spiritual heads above what the bible says. They can make mistakes because they are human beings but the holy Spirit can never be wrong. And this is the more reason I encourage believers to know God on a personal level. Paul said, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection. Whenever you see a questionable character in the fold, always ask these two questions. a. What does the Bible say? b. What would Jesus do? Thank you for reading. May we not grieve the holy Spirit in us and if we have, may God restore us to that sweet fellowship with Him such that whatsoever we do or say will glorify God. Amen.

This happened in the church that I became born again under. The man of God continued cheating on his wife and she kept forgiving him. The congregation kept getting smaller and I never knew why. Then one day, he got one of the members pregnant, and he ran back to Nigeria, leaving his wife to pick up the pieces in the church in the UK. Long story short, the church is no more
Also to add, my sister and I really went in prayer for our pastor and his wife. In the end, the wife refused to forgive him (she told him I will never forgive you) and he is now married to another woman and has a new church in Lagos
One of thing a person struggling from addiction can do it to engage in the things of the spirit like praying and fasting..... I noticed that one of the ways I fall into the so called addiction in when I don't engage myself in spiritual things.... Praying, Fasting helps to decrease the desire to please the flesh...... But when spiritual activities aren't done there will be ease to fall into the things of the flesh. So, when we notice the addiction strong or even before it arise engage in fasting, prayer it helps to lessen the desires of the flesh.... When this is done constantly am sure the addiction will have no choice than to die... God help us.

Let me make this comment: I was chiding a colleague about the man of God she was dating, who was having something with another sister, this sisters were actually fighting each orhe in the hostel. When i heard what Happened as a Christian Sister i was shocked and told her to break up with Him that the man of God annoiting was questionionable. Guess what my Sister said, you should not talk about the man of God like that, you should respect the annoiting.
