@@wolfhawk1999 Entombment of a Machine is a great choice. And MetalBIRB, I recommend "Nailed. Dead. Risen." for some early Impending Doom. No music videos for either of these recommendations but that's alright.
@@METALBIRB My cousin showed me this band when this album was brand new and we were both 13. Growing up with it is an understatement haha it may have been the first 'heavy' album I've ever heard.
METALBIRB got it! That album is so sick. Yeah, I think that would be a good starting point for him or something like Impending Doom. I feel like both have enough metalcore influence to bridge the gap. Sounds like it’s been growing on him though! (Chelsea Grin)
I like how you’re converting him to the more hardcore shit LOL reminds me of how I am with my friends 😂 now I got a whole group of metal heads and underground rap lovers 👊🏽🔥
This album is so iconic! This album is literally the reason why I like Deathcore! Was into post hardcore/emo before this in high school! I saw that my song lost by one vote in the poll! 😭 lol hope you can get For The Likes of You - Rot With Me on the channel!
Love this album! Big nostalgia vibes. I def think you have to kinda grow up with it. And production is weaker but for the time it was great and holds up compared to other bands of the era. Def listen to black dahlia!
yessssss finally, people reacting to ABRB! Every song on every album is perfection! one of the most consistent bands of all time!! looooooveee you guys!!
I love that track. Good times. And yeah, it's a product of it's time, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I think they are a prime example of good Deathcore.
Plz plzplz.....react to anomie by tethra......its not that famous.....so nobody would vote.....but it's amazing I will guarantee you.....plz litsen to it.....plzzzzzzzz
This is my all time favorite deathcore album from that era. It still holds up for me and I still jam it all the time. Just fun bouncy riffs and breakdowns for days. Seeing as he's from the EDM scene show him The Browning.
Give Shrine of Malice a chance. Right up there with Shadow of Intent for best deathcore right now. And kid's like 19-20 in these songs. Shrine of Malice - Kiss of the Wind Shrine of Malice - Awakening Shrine of Malice - Tome of Hellfire
Damn it... You guys should have reacted to the video... 360p quality, but you can still see the drummer freaking killing it... This was pretty much the introduction for deathcore for many of us... You might wanna check out their video vision, with their newest line-up, which was a little bit more metalcore oriented...
The double bass part at the end blew me away the first time. I think its 16th around 260 bpm. You never heard that stuff other than in extreme metal like nile or hate eternal. Funny story: The drummer who played this left and they couldn‘t find someone to play that part live. Saw them twice with the old and new drummer. I think the new one played that part half time or something, cant really remember. But to get to that speed takes years.
Jo, going old school. Nice! You should checkout Maroon - Stay Brutal or Maroon - Wake Up In Hell. It's also kind of old school german metalcore, cause the band unfortunately split up years ago. But it holds up today, I promise! :)
These breakdowns are just dope here. Good shit guys!! if you into very underrated bands, please react to Dissona Another Sky. Its embarrassing that they are not that exposed. Its sad., they are great.
For a long time this was one of the only deathcore songs I liked before I was into the genre. I’m so glad you liked it. In dying days is definitely must listen also.
I’m a sucker for old school breakdowns.
i love that we get to cal these old school now😌
This is one of the greatest deathcore albums of all time
100% agreed
No doubt
Agreed
Yess
Yup yup yup yup yup
I’ve always maintained that “Hester Prynne” was the heaviest song on this album. Love “Allegiance”!
Agree 100% 🔥🔥🔥
That and chug chug ( def the most bounciest) lol
Strife is heavier by far
I honestly thought "Beneath the Surface" was heavier personally

Hell yeah bro!!! As blood runs black- dying days

I think I might have to check it out after hearing this banger

In dying days is the song to do
@@Kidcrowley i remember when i discovered this band i used to play this song on repeat ! that one and legend never die
CLASSIC Deathcore right here! Even before Job for a Cowboy's big EP "DOOM". 2005
Brings me back to the very early days of Impending Doom, in 05/06.
I still don't have Job For A Cowboy or Impending Doom on the channel... hmmm 🤔

finally! This album ist so classic & the production is actually quiet solid for that time/circumstances - some bands today overproducing like shit
The early 2000's was the PEAK of metalcore and deathcore. Doesn't get any better than this.
Hate Malice Revenge - one love 🤷♂
Amen bro. They don't make em like this anymore
This album along with All Shall Perish - Price of Existence and Despised Icon - The Healing Process were constant plays in my car back then
All Shall Perish I feel are super underrated
@@ThatGuyAlex69 yeah i saw them live 3 or 4 times before 2010. They always put on a good show.

I think he would too actually!
METALBIRB I know you reacted to “immersed in Ire”, but you haven’t done “hammers and nails” though, right?
jroysoccer not on the channel bro cause jammed the album and I love it! But I think he’d dig them. I’m trying to convert him to heavier shit haha
