Was one of my favorite Deathcore bands together with All Shall Perish back in the days. People who like this kind of music should check out the album "As Time Goes By" by Arranged Chaos. Its a pretty unknown gem from 2010.
He might be new into Deathcore or just hadn't come across it until recently. I've been listening to Death Metal/Deathcore/Metalcore for like 10+ years but there's tons of stuff considered "classic" that I'm just coming across now like Animosity, Suffocation and Glass Casket.
The song wasnt quite over. Theres a few lyrics left at the end, and its quite perfect. Absolutely love the reaction to the insane double bass at the end.
I’ll never forget “back in the day” when I was an international model... I was in a huge photoshoot and the photographer asked if I wanted to play my music as we worked. I laughed and politely said no, you guys won’t like it. 😂 they made me... saying don’t worry, we like *everything*. So, I put this song on. Those are some of my favourite shots of me ever lol but the look on their faces man. I made them listen to the whole damn song and when it finished, I just slowly walked back to my phone and unplugged it. No one said a word, but they all looked relieved. One of my favourite memories. The photographer was huge in the industry and I made a lasting impression to say the least hahaha. We worked together a lot.
You see, this is why I love reaction channels. There's no way I was going to hear about this band, and I still feel high after that brutal assault of a song.
You found out about an underrated gem of an album that fuckin made my life good as fuck in highschool and I still feel like their blueprints are used by many bands still 🤘
Very well pointed out... they were soooo fucking good.... I got the chance to smoke out with Eddie, Matt and Chris more than once.. and Jason once when he was young as fuck lol
This track helped me discover what deathcore could be back in the day, and led to me finding a lot of great bands and discovering slam and other music I jam to now every single day; lots of respect for the roots this track helped me grow. suggestion for next insane slam track: Mental Cruelty Immortalising Purgatory
Watched this live, and near middle they pulled a bunch of people up to the stage so ended up watching drummer for the Gatling Gun Double Bass near the end, dude pulled that shit off like it was nothing. Really good band, cool dudes all around too!
watching this now, 2023. this album is what made me go past the metallicas and panteras way back in 2012ish. it is a monstruosity of an album, theres no other piece of music that has the sound signature of this. absolute banger
This band is so underrated as a whole. Its so fucking crazy I played guitar hero and Tony Hawk with these dudes sleeping in my apartment once upon a time. Great memories. I will always love these guys. ♡
Yes! So glad you did this video. Listened to these guys when I was in middle school and was hooked. As blood runs black are seriously one of my favorite deathcore bands, one of the pioneers of deathcore for sure. That whole album Allegiance is absolutely amazing and one of my favorites to this day, not one bad song on it. The guitar riffs and drumming in it are top notch. Listen to the entire album, you'll be very pleased.
ABRB never gets old for me, over ten years ago since I first heard of them, and now here in 2019 just awaiting their comeback... Deathcore-4-lyfe mate!
Dude watching your videos is always nostalgic, your reactions remind me of myself when I first heard these songs. That double bass part blew my mind when I was younger. Move your fooking heads!
Saw this band when they first started playing backyard shows all the way till they made it big. They were a local band back then. Then they got a whole new line up but still awesome.
Wes' TECH i dunno , but here in austria in europe i listen to it at least too. I discovered them as one of the first bands when i got into deathcore and literally finding their name on a wikipedia page looking for all existing deathcore bands back in around 2008. It was literally the first deathcore band i actually liked on first listen next to all shall perish
Since you wouldn't mind the older annals of 'core, Chelsea Grin - Recreant Chelsea Grin - My Damnation Despised Icon - M.V.P. All Shall Perish - Never Ending War All Shall Perish - Eradication All Shall Perish - The Day of Justice All Shall Perish - Awaken The Dreamers As Blood Runs Black - In Dying Days As Blood Runs Black - King of Thieves All That Remains - This Calling All That Remains - For We Are Many Amarna Reign - Deceiver Amarna Reign - This Fight(Isn't Over..)
This album was my transition from metalcore to deathcore and eventually progressive metal and djent. I was really into "Define the Great Line" by underoath at the time, and I remember thinking the breakdown in Writing on the Walls was like heavy as fuck. I came across ABRB on MySpace and hearing "In Dying Days" was an awakening for me. I actually have some of their lyrics incorporated into my chest piece. Roots, man. Also, look up "LECH IN THE STUDIO". If that video doesn't show you how much raw talent their original lineup had then I dunno what to tell ya.
I have a suggestion for next week's throwback Thursday that I'm sure alot of people haven't heard. Either Bleed The Fifth, or Failed Creation. Both songs are by Divine Heresy.
Im a new fan of As blood runs black its kinda gets me down that i didnt catch them in their prime years but at least they left their songs and legacy to be remembered 2k19
Ooh, I see you're actually going back to the old stuff! :D Between this album and The Price of Existence from All Shall Perish, you have some of the most standout moments from pre-djent Deathcore.
Yeeeeees! Jammed this all the time back in the day. Next Throwback Thursday: Haste The Day - American Love Zao - Praise the War Machine Extol - Undeceived Becoming the Archetype - Dichotomy A Plea For Purging - Malevolence Any of those. Please please please! 😁
facebook.com/groups/117174478997327/ - GROUP!
This whole album is a deathcore masterpiece. Anyone who doesn't agree doesnt know deathcore. That double bass at the end back in the day was the shit
As much as I love this fancy technical/alien core we have these days with tunnel throats and gross gutterals, Allegiance is still unmatched.
Billy Kordecki yeah I love the new shit and make plenty of content on new deathcore but old school deathcore is just dope as fuck, can't beat it.
Was one of my favorite Deathcore bands together with All Shall Perish back in the days. People who like this kind of music should check out the album "As Time Goes By" by Arranged Chaos. Its a pretty unknown gem from 2010.
They were always next level.

I love this song since i'm still in grade 5 and now i'm 18 and still love this lol .
Hahaha I was waiting for it!!! Sorely disappointed
This whole album was such an overlooked gem in that mid-200s era of deathcore.
Daniel Varney mid 200s lol
....200s?
@@tcorectroll2120 yeah, they were incredibly before their time.
200BC or 200AD?
Romans: "Hey Atilla, what are you doing this evening?"
Atilla the Hun: "Listening to some ABRB maybe sack a city later, IDK."
I love that this band is all about talent and technical skill, and less about tattoos, makeup and hairstyles.
My god how have you not heard this dude!
this is all fake ! he cant be into this music without hearing all these old classics !
Fuck ya bro
I know.
There is no way
He might be new into Deathcore or just hadn't come across it until recently. I've been listening to Death Metal/Deathcore/Metalcore for like 10+ years but there's tons of stuff considered "classic" that I'm just coming across now like Animosity, Suffocation and Glass Casket.
You should check it out In Dying Days from As Blood Runs Black
Gerardo Sanchez he couldn't handle that breakdown
or The Brighter Side of Suffering by As Blood Runs Black. I would love to see his reaction during the pig squeals in the middle of the song
Gerard SG for sure, one of the best right there son
@@aaronlunnemann3857 what an awesome song. The drums are so sick!
And in honor from ABRB
The song wasnt quite over. Theres a few lyrics left at the end, and its quite perfect. Absolutely love the reaction to the insane double bass at the end.
Oooooh yeah! I like that.
He missed the best part lol
That part is not in the video just the track on the album
This album is legit legendary.

You found out about an underrated gem of an album that fuckin made my life good as fuck in highschool and I still feel like their blueprints are used by many bands still 🤘
It was pretty cool to be in high school for the early 2000's metal scene. Love me some good ol' metal core from this era
This entire album was incredible.
Nobody ever mentions All Shall Perish 😔
Yeet Bro! I was looking though my old Amazon purchased albums yesterday and was jamming ASP!
Yeet I know wtf is going on here.
Very well pointed out... they were soooo fucking good.... I got the chance to smoke out with Eddie, Matt and Chris more than once.. and Jason once when he was young as fuck lol
Not much about The Faceless either
I used to fuck with them back in high school they were pretty damn good
The ending of this song on a album version reflects your reaction - "OOOOOYEAH! I LIKE THAT!"
This track helped me discover what deathcore could be back in the day, and led to me finding a lot of great bands and discovering slam and other music I jam to now every single day; lots of respect for the roots this track helped me grow. suggestion for next insane slam track: Mental Cruelty Immortalising Purgatory
loved how you didn't even headbangded in the final breakdown ahahahaha you stood static with the awesomeness ahahahah
Here Comes The Kraken - Don't Fail Me Darko
That's some more old school deathcore.
The Film Effect this band is from my country lol
Watched this live, and near middle they pulled a bunch of people up to the stage so ended up watching drummer for the Gatling Gun Double Bass near the end, dude pulled that shit off like it was nothing. Really good band, cool dudes all around too!
Hester Prynne one of the best songs ever

If you haven't done a "Conducting From the Grave" video yet. I really recommend their song Marching towards Extinction.
The drummer was only 19 when this came out :)
This band is so underrated as a whole. Its so fucking crazy I played guitar hero and Tony Hawk with these dudes sleeping in my apartment once upon a time. Great memories. I will always love these guys. ♡
Despised Icon and As Blood Runs Black are some of the first recorded deathcore bands and they both kill that shit boi
Im in my 30’s and am feeling old. These guys are called old now! Great tune.
One of the best albums of a decade of metal. Extremly fast and technical.
Nothing can scratch the Allegiance itch
Yes! So glad you did this video. Listened to these guys when I was in middle school and was hooked. "Worked mi way down the pole." Hahaha, I spit my beer.
When people asking me how double pedal on drum sound like I always played this song to them.. even after more than 10 years.
Saw them live over 10 years ago now, with born of Osiris, beneath the massacre and a local band. Absolutely brutal 🤙🏻
We opened for As blood runs black, Animosity,. beneath the massacre, the faceless....this was one show. I'll Never forget it back in 2007
The black dahlia murder- What a horrible night to have a curse

Holy shit I saw them right before their drummer left a long time ago. It was amazing hearing this song live.
ABRB never gets old for me, over ten years ago since I first heard of them, and now here in 2019 just awaiting their comeback... Deathcore-4-lyfe mate!

Thank Fuck someone else is loving this shit. 16 or so years ago this was all I listened to on my ipod shuffle
I was in a classical mood until I listened to this filthy shit. Now My bloods pumped and hearts racing. Fuck yes!! What a song.
Within Destruction - Plague Of Immortality
this is a wholesome video of a man enjoying the simpler things in life.
Getting so pumped watching this. How did these pass me by???
BTW, the double bass part at the end is around 260bpm, which was fucking awesome, especially for a Deathcore Band at that time.
What an OG. Sometimes I come back just to jam with ya. Good stuff!
Still to this day hands down my favorite album. Sad that they broke up because it just doesn't sound the same anymore. The drummer was insane
Would love to see "Black Tongue - Coma" some friday shit right there
Holy shit talk about a throwback. This was one of the first metal songs I ever heard back in '06 not long after it was released
This was a sound track of many many parts. I had no idea anyone else listened to them other than the few here in southern cali.
Wes' TECH i dunno , but here in austria in europe i listen to it at least too.
I discovered them as one of the first bands when i got into deathcore and literally finding their name on a wikipedia page looking for all existing deathcore bands back in around 2008.

This band a favorite deathcore since years 2000's
