I am completely in awe of Mr Ballen. Most youtubers kind of accidentally hit it big, then either figure they will ride it out until the popularity dies down or constantly struggle to keep the momentum going. This man built an empire! It is amazing to watch.

Disagree. It's just pure laziness. He's not even the one who writes the scripts or edits or anything. He just shows up and narrates. This channel was MUCH better when he actually dedicated his time to it and did everything himself. Mr. Ballen is now just another example of selling out once you get famous. These stories suck and are not nearly as interesting as the old ones.
His ability to help entertain is truly a godsend. There were def nights I only made it through addiction, and not "picking up" because I would take it one story at a time. I see his enthusiasm, and definitely use it to help others. Ever watch "Zombie Bagel"? I get so many bitter old marines, Army men, uh.. Navy men (sorry my grandpa was "proud to be a squid" and I have to refrain because some take offense!) and anyone from all walks of life (including a British intelligence ex-operative!) to really open up to that one! I truly hope his team, and him are having as much fun as we do. I hope whatever profit made brings good fortune to everyone involved. I'm between being homeless and I spend so much in healthcare! This is free entertainment, and helping so many. I'm sorry for the tangent. I just share your sentiment. Thank you.

Bruh, thank you Mr. Ballen for making me feel old. I delivered pizzas for Domino's in the late 80s. 30 minutes or less or the pizza delivery was free!!! I had to pay for the pizzas I didn't deliver on time. People would take numbers off their mailboxes to confuse us all the time. Remember back then we didn't have GPS or even a cellphone. If we had to call a costumer, we had to pay. 25 cents and use a pay phone. It was a challenging time for us back then. Now they fly drones and stuff to delivere goods. Your boss was ripping you off. You shouldn't have had to pay for it. That's the whole reason they stopped the 30 minute guarantee. Drivers would speed or run signs or lights and cause fatal accidents. I worked for Dominos during that time, too, and our franchise owner ate the cost.

Dang that sux, I also delivered for domino's late 90s, before I had a cell and was awful with directions, I remember I was super late delivering because I couldn't find the house, and because I was in a rush I locked my keys in the car with it running so I had to go back up to the house and ask to use his phone.

I just came to the WIFI spot which is like 3KMs from where i stay to download this then go back to my place. It's nighttime this side. This has been my routine. I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH MRBALLEN.

Straight up, I was so sad when he started posting less and less but the I realized he's doing all these podcasts and whatnot so he's still putting in the same time and effort as the good old days of not even more!!!
We all do research to tell stories at work. Im an artist and I spent 1 hour studying 20 articles on freedom Flotilla raid and could tell you the story. I'm painting it, so I thought I should dot my i's and cross my t's. Would it be hard for you? I expect my school projects took more work. And he gets paid more than he should for telling other people's stories....... stop glorifying easy jobs while ignoring the hard workers out there. Paramedics. Volunteers. Hamas. We creative are living our best lives and getting overpaid for it. Aren't we, Mr Ballen? But yes he has a natural charm at storytelling. It's effortless and that's what I like about it.

My son he’s 7 and he’s a good comic book drawer and awesome story writer. I know Mr Ballen does non-fiction but who knows maybe my son can send him some fiction stories to tell lol. We listen to Mr Ballen on our way to school and back and whenever we run errands
Hi Mr Ballen. My father deserted me and my two brothers when we were babies. You have been adopted. No-one told us stories except our uumum who worked day and night to pay our rent. Love from Scotland. That was in the 1960's, now a mans cannot be employed without his wages being arrested if he walks.away, the woman gets a new home, and he is the one who is abandoned.

Thanks for sharing the Domino's story. I grew up minutes from Domino's Farms. You could do multiple stories on Mr. Monaghan. He brought a herd of Bison to Michigan because it matched the prairie style architecture.

I’ve been hooked on Mr. Ballen since 2022. When I was pregnant, his stories were my go-to for entertainment-like my unborn baby and I were on the edge of our seats! I’ve practically seen every single video, so it drives me nuts when I accidentally click on one I’ve already watched. Seriously, déjà vu isn’t as fun the second time around! HAHAH😂

It's crazy the things that get you through the shittiest times of your life can be something so simple. I used to binge watch Stranger Things when I was homeless. I'd watch it until I fell asleep, wake up an hour or so later, watch some more, fall asleep, repeat all night. Those simple things stick with you long after your situation changes. Those simple things keep you sane when you should be losing your sanity. You almost feel indebted to them somehow

In the first three seconds i LITERALLY said out loud "dude.....where's your hat!!? 😕"... . Then i breathed a sigh of relief when I realized it was part of the act.
He was killed for doing the Wong thing and paid for it. Because just being in the Wong place at the Wong time was enough for the Wong thing to happen. The chinese government found out what went "Wong" and fixed it. "It's the Wong way to learn a lesson, " they said. "Two Wongs don't make a right, " said his family. So, the "Wong-ful death" settlement was paid. So, now, of the many Wongs in the world, we wont see this again.

Fun fact about the NOID. I worked in dominos in the UK last year and they brought back the Noid with avoid the noid shirts. None of us knew what it was and had to google it, none of the customers knew either. It seems pretty pointless now 30 years later
We had a driver that made everyone a retro-looking pin with "Avoid the Noid" on it back when I worked at Dominos while in college. It was actually pretty neat.

Speaking of the Noid character, it became so popular that there was even a video game of him for Nintendo's NES console, in which the Noid was the hero that saved the day, as opposed to being the villain of the Dominoes commercials. I also speculate that 90s rapper Big Noyd found some inspiration from the character when coming up with his stage name.

Disagree. It's just pure laziness. He's not even the one who writes the scripts or edits or anything. He just shows up and narrates. This channel was MUCH better when he actually dedicated his time to it and did everything himself. Mr. Ballen is now just another example of selling out once you get famous. These stories suck and are not nearly as interesting as the old ones.
His ability to help entertain is truly a godsend. There were def nights I only made it through addiction, and not "picking up" because I would take it one story at a time. I see his enthusiasm, and definitely use it to help others. Ever

Bruh, thank you Mr. Ballen for making me feel old. I delivered pizzas for Domino's in the late 80s. 30 minutes or less or the pizza delivery was free!!! I had to pay for the pizzas I didn't deliver on time. People would take numbers off their mailboxes to confuse us all the time.
Remember back then we didn't have GPS or even a cellphone. If we had to call a costumer, we had to pay. 25 cents and use a pay phone. It was a challenging time for us back then. Now they fly drones and stuff to delivere goods.

I’ve been hooked on Mr. Ballen since 2022. When I was pregnant, his stories were my go-to for entertainment-like my unborn baby and I were on the edge of our seats! I’ve practically seen every single video, so it drives me nuts when I accidentally click on one I’ve already watched. Seriously, déjà vu isn’t as fun the second time around! HAHAH😂

It's crazy the things that get you through the shittiest times of your life can be something so simple. I used to binge watch Stranger Things when I was homeless. I'd watch it until I fell asleep, wake up an hour or so later, watch some more, fall asleep, repeat all night. Those simple things stick with you long after your situation changes. Those simple things keep you sane when you should be losing your sanity. You almost feel indebted to them somehow

So, the "Wong-ful death" settlement was paid. So, now, of the many Wongs in the world, we wont see this again.

Fun fact about the NOID. I worked in dominos in the UK last year and they brought back the Noid with avoid the noid shirts. None of us knew what it was and had to google it, none of the customers knew either. It seems pretty pointless now 30 years later
