There's no innovation left, they are shelling out repetitive content. It's good that the music scene in Pakistan is still not corroborated by money (atleast for us fans), it keeps the soul intact.

One of my fav songs... lyrics by Faiz and the mellifluous voice of the graceful Nayyara Noor...etched in my heart forever. Loved the clarity of the voice here, the diction is crisply earnest and the lilting guitar in the background.... lovely!!! Lyrics by Faiz doesn't need any musical arrangement...just the powerful lyrics is enough!
So many good singers have sung this nazm, but none could explore and convey it the way Nayyara Ji did. In her voice, Faiz Sahab's words acquired a life of their own. Donon mahaan hastiyon ko dil se naman.
