  • Hey guys! Welcome back to the new video of electrical infinity.
    In this video, I attempt to explain the electrical design of high rise building G plus 10
    It consists of 5 steps
    1. Calculation of total connected load
    2. Transformer sizing
    3. Circuit breaker selection for transformer
    4. Circuit breaker selection for main meter panel and flat load
    5. Drawing of Single Line Diagram

    Great brother..Suppose you have 2 transfer pumps,1 is standby and other is on duty, means they will work interchangeable and both will not ON at Sam time and they are in same panel MCC,..So how will you calculate main cable to this panel, will you consider kW of both motor or only 1 ?

    I need urgent help.
    Actually I got bit confused.
    I have to select cable, which load I should consider while selecting cable size from transformer to MDB
    Should it be tcl amp or peak load amp or transformer amp or circuit breaker amp.
    Pls do reply as early as possible

    • @ElectricalInfinity
      @ElectricalInfinity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually a cable between transformer and supply connection facility is provided by supply authority and is sized depending on transformer secondary side ampere setting. Supply connection facility is used by supply authority to set the current to certain required amperes depending on supply application done by electrical consultant by calculating max demand. The cable from supply connection facility is sized depending on circuit breaker setting in supply connection facility.
      I hope this answers your question.
