Le Roux not making that pass was absolutely criminal.
Fam he got me mad for a sec😂😂😂😂
Maybe still a bit concussed. Time to bring in the new.
For real,he was abit selfish there
He stepped to the inside with 3 players ready to go on the outside😢
He's probably chasing a milestone.
To the person posting the videos : *THANK YOU VERY MUCH* for posting the highlights so quickly after the match - I can guarantee you that there are *MANY* that feel the same way I do!!!
Me too
this a bot comment
Haha 😂 you said same thing for All blacks game just now
Yes, thank you very much.
Thank you so much for the high lights
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is the best raw talent to grace the Bok squad since Bryan Habana.
Excellent, but let's not forget Kurt-Lee, a fantastic player.
Let’s not forget Kolbe
@@bassk9939 absolutely! Watching him run makes my day!
100% He is the future.
lol what?
I think Le Roux is going to owe Kriel a beer after the game… that was criminal 🤣
I tell my wife Willie is actually quite good. Then every time she actually watches a game he does something like that.
Ive never seen such a lineout variation😂😂
Changing the focus of a line out after the initial take? You’ve not seen that before?
world rugby banning lineouts soon 😂😂
It was bonkers!!!!
Not watched much rugby?
That's Tony Brown's magic at work. He's a master of set piece trickery and variation. You can also thank him for getting PTSD over the line - again. Watching loosies fly up the field in the wide channels is something I've NEVER seen from South Africa. I'm sure we used to do it in the amateur days. Great to see it in 2024.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is a massive talent. Plus at 10 he's in a position that can have a massive impact on a game
The Sacha glazing is crazy
such a talent
@@user-pf2gf2kn6g fr, he was pretty ordinary against Australia
He'll be well protected by that back-row - could be a class act
He’s got some real strokes of genius no doubt, but I watched the entire game today and I can tell you he had a lot of shocking moments. This was probably one of his lesser performances. But he’s on the right track, could be a star if he continues to improve
0:56 oh Willie…how did you manage to stuff that up?
Should have kept it simple and basic.
What the heck!
At 3:30 Kriel makes up for La Rouxs earlier blunder with a "nah bru" and offloading to Arandse instead for the 5 pointer 😂
Good freaking grief Willie! 😮😮😮😮😮😮
That's why he is known as Willie le Poo
Springboks beautifully scary. The trajectory of where we heading melts my heart.. absolutely beautiful
I wouldn't get too excited, beating the wallabies isn't an achievement
Well, well, well, the Aus form book for SA has been thrown out the window. What next for this great Bok team, big win against NZ in NZ ?
gay much
Wouldn’t be to proud, since you lost to Ireland
@kirklawler777 you aren't playing NZ in NZ this year
Congrats south africa, from a nz fan you guys are unreal. Hard luck wallabies
It's definitely going to be a two-horse race this year. You guys look very, very good, but I think it'll take Robertson and co a year for you to gel and a couple more to peak. The next World Cup is yours, in my opinion, with Australia (with home field advantage and a likely easy draw) being the dark horse favourites.
😢@davesmith826 the pumas just pumas the all blacks
I don't know, it's probably a case of the Wallabies being so inept. I still expect us to struggle against the intensity and class of the All Blacks at Ellis Park.
I am also very thrilled that rugby league is gradually becoming more popular than union in NZ, especially with the younger generation Christchurch will soon have its own NRL franchise which will do wonders for the code's popularity.
I agree with the sentiment that union is boring and archaic with most games decided by penalties and yellow cards.
I'm one of the few South Africans who prefers league to union.
Well ABs we're shit
Boring "rugby" 🥱
NRL Rules!! 😂
As a Bok supporter I wish Joe Schmidt all the best in developing Aussie rugby. I remember the old days when John Eales and Gregan and Roff and Horan were tearing it up and hope to see it again. I think Rugby Australia needs fundamental culture change.
Well said - I remember those days. So many great Aussie players back then - Matt Burke, Phil Kearns, Daniel Herbert... even later years as well into early 2000s. Each game was a nailbiter.
Let's not forget the Great Sterling Mortlock and Stephen Larkham.. They were a scary prospect that wallabies team.. Chris Latham, Andrew walker.. The tri nations in the 90s and early 2000s was by far the best quality rugby on the planet..

Too many footy codes I'm Australia. Can't focus on one like South Africa. Your talents are spread out instead of focused soley on Rugby
I agree, I've never seen Aussie rugby so bad in my life and I'm 60yrs old Bok supporter. We need a strong Aussie team, world rugby is not a big, I hope it happens quick. But now Argentina is cooking again by beating NZ wtf lol😂
That lineout transfer to the front 🤯 MY word the Boks are innovative!
That’s nowhere near an innovation. It was well executed though
@@TheRadFactor Dont be a hater
@@karabontseki617 don’t be silly. Transferring the focus in the line out is not an innovation.
@@TheRadFactor It 100% is an innovation. The word comes from the Latin to “introduce something new”. No one’s done that before, ergo it’s an innovation.
Just one example of the half a dozen or so major innovations Rassie has implemented:
- 6-2 split
- 7-1 split
- Traffic lights
- 50 metre mauls
- “The Move” (in the 2019 final)
- Scrums off the mark (against France)
- Rush defence
Etc.
@@MKRM27 Basketball passing to another guy in the air is not new?
Brilliant thumbnail and title. You give no hint whatsoever of the score, and the viewer can simply watch and enjoy the highlights. Absolutely fantastic, thank you.
unlike the unnecessary spoilers in the olympic highlight videos : (
Really proud of this performance and how much innovation the Boks are bringing to the game. A bit spotty in the second half and butchered a couple more tries, but there will always be growing pains with new systems.
SFM, Elrigh Louw and BJD are really making a case for the starting squad. Outstanding from the youngsters.
Where’s the innovation?
@@MKRM27 Here, I made a list for you:
- 6-2 split
- 7-1 split
- Rush defence
- “The Move”
- Endless lineout variations (0:16)
- Cheslin feeding in the scrum
- Cheslin throwing lineouts
- 50 metre mauls
- Scrums off the mark
- Traffic lights
Etc.
You forgot : Endless variations on how to slow the game down
lay on ground with fake injury to milk the clock
Waste time in huddle at the lineouts
Also Boks didn't invent the rush defence or lineout variations they do it well but most definitely not the boks innovations but the rest pretty good

Willie le Roux this Willie that...at the end of the day.Hes making every other backline player looking good, putting all of them in space allways. Although he shouldve passed it today, still an absolute legend. You either love him or hate him.
Well said mate. He may go with the odd mishap like any player does. One of the few around these days that provides a rolls Royce quality. Rare in today’s game but extremely effective if not fully appreciated.

The damages he made cannot be undone in one season

Idiotic take
Eddie Jones sucked the life out of Australia 😮
I can live with that as a wallabies fan. We’ve got a lot of young blood and a ton of inexperience in the squad, this was expected. I don’t expect them to be beating the Saffas anytime soon. Understand that this is a work towards the next World Cup. This is a building block. This is what we NEED. Hold your chin up boys, only up from here. Green and Gold all day!

The learning and growing has been going on for too long
The same people who harshly critique Siya are the ones who will always defend Willie
The art is to look at the overall performance of every player and not focus on the negatives (or positives for that matter). Willie made a mistake tonight but generally played really well, same with Siya in the RWC final.
Difficult as it can be sometimes, we need to trust that Rassie knows what he is doing lol.
There needs to be a serious sitdown with LeRoux as to WHAT EXACTLY HE WAS THINKING WHEN HE MADE THAT DECISION NOT TO PASS.😮

@@kevinrtres no they don't have a bonus point. Must have 3 more tries than the opposition.
Come on Aussie (from an Englishman) we need you back. This isn't what we want to see from one of the previous powerhouses of rugby union. Keeping fingers crossed that JS turns the ship around, but let's be honest it's bigger than just the national team. This is a generational effort to avoid an existential threat. Good luck.👍
The Australian sports market has progressively been getting harder for Rugby Union to survive in over the last 20 years. During Australian Rugby Union’s heydays of the 90s and early 00s the AFL barely existed in Sydney and Brisbane and Rugby League was wrapped up in and then recovering from the highly destructive ‘Super League War’ which split the game and fans.
But now the AFL is now an 18 team competition with 2 pro teams in both Sydney and Brisbane/Gold Coast respectively built largely off supplanting Union’s place in its traditional private school nurseries, whilst the NRL is now a 17 team competition and so strong that it is also about to expand to 18 and then has plans to go to 20 teams (which will also likely see it add another NZ team).
That’s a LOT of competition from other contact oval ball football codes for a relatively small population of 26 million people. Add to that, Rugby’s one defining appeal - its international presence - has been undercut somewhat by the growing success of soccer in Australia. The socceroos and the A-League have their problems, but they’ve built a significant profile of their own and if having high profile internationals is your thing, then soccer just scratches that itch better than Rugby.
Springboks are creating new things in rugby well done boks 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
