If you got 2014 or older just get a 2014(or older) srt8 diff(and axles), or get the getrag 3.06. Or speedlogix makes custom drive shafts if you really want the scat 3.09 dif I put a 2014 srt8 diff on my 2013 rt. Bolted right up easy. Got the diff and axles off marketplace, just changed the diff fluid
Yepp. All you need is the differential and fluid. Depending on where you get it from, I would swap the fluid in it for some fresh new fluid and don’t forget to add limited slip additive if the fluid you buy doesn’t have it in it already. I added it to the fluid I bought anyways just to be safe.
No sir, you do not need a tune and will not get a check engine light. Your speedometer will still match how fast you are going. What will change is you gear ratios and what rpm your car will be at for certain speeds. For example before I swapped it, 70-80 mph was under 2k rpm, but after if I’m going 80, I’m over 2k rpm
@@jonathanjohnson8436 depends on where you get your differential and diff fluid from. I paid $600 for the differential, $30 for the fluid and $10 for the lsd additive. Then the time I spent at the shop, I paid about $60 so in total around $700
@jonathanjohnson8436 Go for it! This one of the best mods for any mopar regardless. You can have a lot more fun and a overall better driving experience
The 3.09 is not compatible with cars older than a 15. The 3.06 lsd or whatever getrag lsd you would want would be what you want to get for the 11-14 rts

No check engine light no tune required I was told you would need to tune after installed so that way it can match the speedometer

I have a 17 300 s V8 do i need to change other things besides the SRT diff ?
Depends on what you’re wanting to get from it. Are you talking bout performance or looks?
what's the estimate if I wanted to get this done to my 300?

@@dmoney5065 cool. I was going to swap out because I got a 3.6 and I wanted to get the better diff with the limited slip

@@dmoney5065appreciate the feedback I'm in the process of getting a 3.6 differential off a 2014 SRT along with the axles
Can I put this diff on my 2014 300 c?
No sir, only 2015+ use these differentials. You have to get a getrag diff I believe
Get a 2014 or earlier srt8 diff. I put one on my 2013 it bolts right up
What year 300 you got

So if I get a 3.06 diff do I still need a custom drive shaft?
I heard the whine
