I AM RE. NOTHING CAN HARM ME!!... well, except when Isis summoned that snake under my feet and sometimes apep swallows me and theres an eclipse... But otber than that, I AM RE!!!
To pick a top Nile album is a tough topic to tackle, but I tell you this - this is 100% their most unique album, and by far the best vocal display of Nile. Just maniacal!
bmhyakiri I know, it REALLY sounds like Dallas, but it's Karl, you can especially hear it when he goes into a death growl when he says "Crocodiles of the west, whom live on the unwearying stars"
Now listen, anybody who is even a casual death metal fan (no death-head) cannot deny the greatness of Nile. These guys have always been at a whole different level. Respect! What a song!
I love Egyptian style metal. Love their guitar style I wanted to start an Egyptian style, Black metal and Mercyful Fate influenced original band for many years.
I dont get why some fans diss this album its one of my favorites by them, but then again its kinda hard for me to choose a favorite by them I like em all really
I really don't get trolls who come to great music videos and comment with their utter shit grammar, spelling and opinions. No one gives a shit. Nile is untouchable.
it is such a good song, and also the whole album is great. unfortunately the quality of the sound-production is not as good as on their previous album... :( nevertheless Nile rules! :) \m/
hah, the production on the previous album was the reason i couldn't listen that album, it completely ruined it for me. this is the production i prefer, this album is amazing. this is how metal should sound.
No basis in history eh? These lyrics come almost exactly from "The Chapter For Repelling A Crocodile", from the Theban Resenscion on the Book of The Dead. Now tell me how they have no base in history. Also, if you know "more of about song writing", you would think you could string together a coherent thought without 55 spelling and grammar errors.
Nothing wrong with this album, I get the point that it's supposed to sound more savage and wild. I do miss the driving power in the guitar and vocals of Annihilation Of The Wicked though.
Cool music. Cool lyrics. The vocal melody is lacking, but I think it is sounds like Unas Slayer of the Gods at the part where there is a proclamation of some sort about how awesome Unas is, therefore the I think the vocal melody is striving for those epic moments. Pretty cool tune!
Nobody who ever ripped on these guys ever did anything near as original and never will. Can you imagine how hard it would be to assemble a band that can play this kind of stuff and then write music this well? Take your hats off to these guys.
Have you ever stopped to think, "why do i like this?", "what determines my taste in music?", "why do i like this is better than that?". ALL music can be considered good, but you choose what music you listen to based on how you view yourself and how you want to be viewed in society, just like any other decision you'll make in your adult like that doesn't concern survival.
i bought the album over a month ago, and this song isn't a good example of how awesome the album is, when i get it back i'll upload the whole thing and hopefully everyone will enjoy it
I like this. It's pretty raw without being unlistenable, the vocals are brutal but different and interesting, and there is a nice balance between fast and tech, and slow and sludgy.
I totally agree with you as far as growling is concerned. Yet, I want to see what the whole album will look like, and then make comparisons. It'll be fun.
I think this is my favorite Nile song. It is the most progressive-experimental Egyptian-technical-death-metal song I've ever heard.
how many songs of this type do u know?
technical brutal death *
@@mercilessoverlord1330 progressive ultra-technical megabrutal death ancient egyptian papyrus containing spell to preserve its hard thrash death whatever handergromenauer punk*
That was the most brutal utterance of the word belly I've ever heard.
I think "bowels "was even more brutal
Feces also
9 years later it still castrates the ears in its own awesome way... Nile may be one of the best metal bands to ever exist!
Yep.......still an amazing song 10 years later
I AM RE. NOTHING CAN HARM ME!!...

Fucking tightest album ever, shredding riffs and a destroying drum set, I don't see how anyone is hating this new masterpiece.
"I WILL ERASE YOU"
Best lyric ive heard in weeks
masterpiece! I have no words to say how amazing this song is... Hail, Nile!
i love this song so much it makes me feel so awesome
Karl you the man. Been jammin nile since 1993... Thanks dad!
I've always loved Karl's vocals... It would be awesome to hear one song that was entirely him
TRUE!
Pretty sure this is just Karl, at least according to him
Lelantlos Isenfort No way, that second voice sounds like Dallas.
bmhyakiri I know, it REALLY sounds like Dallas, but it's Karl, you can especially hear it when he goes into a death growl when he says "Crocodiles of the west, whom live on the unwearying stars"
He sounds like a dead Pharaoh-God under the sand!
it's the most completed type of music in this style..!it got it ALL!
Now listen, anybody who is even a casual death metal fan (no death-head) cannot deny the greatness of Nile. These guys have always been at a whole different level. Respect! What a song!
Does anyone else think that it sounds badass when it says "I will erase you"?
Yeah
Hellyeah, I believe it's the best part of the song. It kinda slows down a bit and then it picks up the tempo again.
+DarknessShadows666 Whenever i delete something i always sing that part as i do it.
Baldo Atheist Cool. xD
I will erase this ttg fanboy
this is death metal art
I love Egyptian style metal.
Love their guitar style
I wanted to start an Egyptian style, Black metal and Mercyful Fate influenced original band for many years.
"I am Re"
I agree, I really liked the mix and tone of drums and guitars.
Powerful spell
I dont get why some fans diss this album its one of my favorites by them, but then again its kinda hard for me to choose a favorite by them I like em all really
*"I am Re*
*Who protects himself*
*Nothing can harm me"*
SO VERDAMMT BRUTAL!!!
\m/\m/\m/
*Nile ist die beste Band überhaupt.*
Always worth a repeat listen! This is NILE! What more can be said.
you can hear hints of george's jazz skills in this.
What are you talking about!
I completely agree with your analysis of the vocals. They add an amazing atmosphere to this song.
Holy fucking goddamn fucking fuck.
These guys make me happy to be from Greenville South Carolina.
I really don't get trolls who come to great music videos and comment with their utter shit grammar, spelling and opinions. No one gives a shit.
Nile is untouchable.
Used to enjoy seeing Nile in concert! Miss those days!
it is such a good song, and also the whole album is great. unfortunately the quality of the sound-production is not as good as on their previous album... :( nevertheless Nile rules! :) \m/

most underrated song of nile i guess. but definetly the sickest
holy shit kolilas
Excellent NILE offering! Well composed and brutally delivered! NILE kills and kills again!

Dude what the fuck are you on?
Guy, they're Egyptian-themed, and the grimness of the vocals give off the godliness of the Egyptian gods.
Nothing wrong with this album, I get the point that it's supposed to sound more savage and wild. I do miss the driving power in the guitar and vocals of Annihilation Of The Wicked though.
I'm guessing Annihilation Of The Wicked is your fav album.
HiveBeresrker They said next album will be more in the style of annihilation of the wicked
End Vegetarianism Yeah that's right :D
+HiveBeresrker this album everyone knows is there worst but it still infact is a fairly good release and I still need to buy it
+HiveBeresrker I quite like the productions of In Their Darkened Shrines and Those Whom the Gods Detest even though they’re quite different
The vocals are just like everything: The more you listen to the song, the better you like them!
Cool music. Cool lyrics. The vocal melody is lacking, but I think it is sounds like Unas Slayer of the Gods at the part where there is a proclamation of some sort about how awesome Unas is, therefore the I think the vocal melody is striving for those epic moments. Pretty cool tune!
the drum opening is the most textured drumming I have ever heard in metal
I am bald Tom Hanks!
GREAT ALBUM, NILE REINVENTED HIS MUSIC

Nobody who ever ripped on these guys ever did anything near as original and never will. Can you imagine how hard it would be to assemble a band that can play this kind of stuff and then write music this well? Take your hats off to these guys.
ah, nice... these guys are getting better with every album, imho. can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
So different than most bands. Lyrically and musick. Diggin it!
I honestly don't understand why people hate this album so much. I think it's amazing :D.
This song reminds me of the first Nile stuff....and I like it very much.
2:45 my favourite part 🤘
Nile never ceases to amaze. A masterpiece of epic proportions!! Definitely worth the 27 bucks to pre-order!
SICK song, im really digging the clean vocals, gives a nice contrast
I loved this album.

Didn't think it was up to scratch to begin with but this is really a grower for me. Really, really liking this song now (y)
Love the song, Love the Band, Love the artwork
This reminds me on their first album. Awesome stuff.
i bought the album over a month ago, and this song isn't a good example of how awesome the album is, when i get it back i'll upload the whole thing and hopefully everyone will enjoy it
The begining has a In Their Darkened Shrines feel to it, can't wait to hear the rest of the album
This song is fucking amazing. Nile should have more recognition.
Also, holy fucking shit, Kollias.
This will indeed be the best Nile album by far...
Hell yeah guys awsome ablum i really like the writing the drum work killer.
Guitar tone is very tight and defined. Some people complain about it not being as muddy but I like hearing the picking.
I like this. It's pretty raw without being unlistenable, the vocals are brutal but different and interesting, and there is a nice balance between fast and tech, and slow and sludgy.
This song is awesome.
The guitar tone sounds the best on this album than any other Nile album.
How on earth is this possible? Awesomeness.
I've got this on order from the library. I hope it gets here soon.
excellent song --love how this band progresses, but as the music progresses, so should the production.
Nile Never disappoints me I'm also digging the vocals on this...this is turning into a good year for metal!!
Greetings from Bangladesh! 🇧🇩
Nile rulesss!🍺🍺
They have clean vocals since their very first beginnings, man^^
I can't wait for this to come out!!!!
With all due respect to the great death metal bands who have come before and after, Nile is the greatest one of all time.
Good news guy, this song kicks ass
Nile never disappoints!
you have no idea.. really this is there best album!
This song is insane!
Best drum of death metal song..
I heard most the album in my car stereo and was surprised of how good it was and how the production was much better actually. Great album imo
sounding great!!
baladinha, espero q as outras musicas sejam mais brutais!!!
This is my fave from the new album. Great vocals!
dont mind about the keyboard the best thing is that you got the message and you understand it. God bles
love the old school death metal style vocals on this song/this band has been on top of the extreme death metal genre for a long while now
Sick!!! Love it!
The song is pretty awesome.
vocals are great. theyve got an old school death metal vibe to them
I smile everytime I hear this song. So much diversity in it. :) Just amazing.
Just pre-ordered this.
can´t wait for this album!!! sounds great!
Normally I don't care much for death metal, even technical death metal, but this song is awesome!
This song is crazy.
Somehow it sounds better when I'm reading the lyrics while listening to it
I totally agree with you as far as growling is concerned. Yet, I want to see what the whole album will look like, and then make comparisons. It'll be fun.
Holy shit, this is is just a very good year for metal. And we're only at the half of it.
i want this album on vinyl!!
i wanna see them playing this Masterpiece
A month after hearing this album for the first time, I still love it.
