    Hey, did you use it as an interface when you recorded this track or you used it only as preamps and used your own interface/ad converter? I wonder how good the conversion, the sound quality, sample rate, latency through USB are when connected straight to a DAW.

    This actually was very cool to see this unit in action. I’ve kinda wondered about the 1073OPX- I’m a UAD user myself(Apollo x8p); not sure if I’d get the chance to integrate this into my workflows, but this was a cool video to watch! 🙂

    I have a question - when you plugged your bass in and switched to DI input how was your level going in? I just purchased one of these and DI input is just unusable for me even at the lowest level! I’ve tried multiple basses, AG’s, and EG’s. Signal is immediately in the red and really distorted in a bad way. Then I hit the pad and you have to crank it almost all the way up and the signal is just horribly noisy.

    Hi! thanks for this video. How do you monitor "clipping"? can´t see any leds indicating clippin. Thanks!

      Each channel has a tiny led on the front that reads incoming signal. Green, or red for clipping.

    Great review. Does it get very hot? If you racked it, would it need a space above and below for cooling?

    • @gabrielheiser
      @gabrielheiser 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. I read another comment that said the cooling is on the side and they don't get hot.

    When you figure how much you’re paying per pre amp, this is really a pretty good price for a highly coveted pre.
