So nice to see you again! I just finished booking our Summer trip from SFO-LHR-ORY-PRG via WAW-TLV-,FRA-SFO.
We are on Virgin Atlantic to LHR, Vuelling to ORY and PRG,LOT to TLV via Warsaw and Lufthansa to Frankfurt and Condor Premium to SFO. I have access to the Virgin Clubhouse at SFO,LH Business Class at FRA with AMEX Plat and Priority Pass at LGW,ORY ,PRG and TLV.

That legroom was indeed not the best but I survived, had it been a 10 hour+ long haul, well then it would not have been particularly pleasant. The amenities kit is a nice touch from Qatar Airways and all in all it is a good airline to fly with. Goodmorning all of you we hope you have had a good weekend and are ready for the week ahead! Good to hear that you enjoyed this video and that you are looking forward to part 3 and 4. Part 3 will be the transit (with bus) through Doha Airport and part 4 the flight from Doha to Copenhagen. Editing these videos takes up all our free time but yes we do still enjoy doing it as we also relive our holidays and travel experiences while we are doing it :-D The meal was good but definitely could have used some more sauce. Qatar Airways makes a very good Bloody Mary, they have a ready made mix which takes just right! No Pre-snack with this airline, we think this is the only long-haul route we have not received that service. You visited my (almost) hometown. I live in Penang on the main island. I flew every year from Europe to KL but was very delighted when QR launched Penang route. Last year I flew they had Dreamliner which was nice but kinda disappointed they changed to A330. In a month I will fly with them again :)

Qatar Airways has been using back B787-800 since Oct 2019 and will be increasing the frequency to daily service in May 2020 according to RoutesOnline. Oh ya, Emirates is also serving Penang soon too via Singapore in May 2020.

Hi both. That legroom is savage! At 6ft4 I would be struggling with that. I’m guessing the A330 is an old plane. When we flew SIN HAN last year my seat broke! Also interesting that Qatar beat Singapore Airlines in the SkyTrax awards. I’ve not read in detail but I guess SQ falls down when it comes to price. Although still our favourite!
Skytrax awards are not what they're cracked up to be, at least these days.
@@ziauddinkhan5699 Very true! It seemed to be an impartial 'judge' when it started out and I would always defer to their airline ratings. But no longer. In 2019 it's called 'Scam Trax' for a good reason: no money, no (good) rating for you. Who in their right mind would rate Lufthansa over Turkish, unless they're being paid!??
Hi there Andrew, thanks for watching! Our conclusion was also that the poor legroom was down to an older plane and an older entertainment system although we have had the same issue with the Entertainment Box under the seat onboard their Dreamliner from Copenhagen to Doha (the box on the Dreamliner did not full as much space as on the A330 but did limit leg room - we did a Trip Report on that). Your seat broke, what happened? For awards we would choose one of the Asian Airlines on this route as we have always had a good service with all of them. Last year we tried Singapore Airlines for the first time and although it was good, we must say that it was not as special as we have heard. Our favorite up until now is a close tie between China Airlines and Korean Air. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your travel experiences with us! Have a good week ahead! Nice airport and flight review, Qatar is an airline I'd really like to try flying with at some point in the future. I wonder why the restroom still includes an ashtray? Seems strange! Hope it was a nice flight.
Goodmorning to you from Copenhagen THDA, hope you are well on your side of the world! Thanks for watching our Flight Review , nice to hear that you enjoyed it. Qatar Airways is a good airline and despite the limited legroom on this flight is an airline we would easily fly with again, the onboard service is good. That said, if we had to choose between them and one of the Asian carriers such as Thai Airways we would choose Thai. We feel (in our opinion) that Thai is a little better ;-) Regarding the ashtrays, one of our viewers once explained that they are there so that if somebody decides to break the rules then there is a place to dispose of the cigarette safely (the smoke alarm will of course go off in the lavatory and the passenger will have legal issues to deal with). As mentioned apart from the poor legroom caused by the Inflight Entertainment System it was a good flight (and a good Bloody Mary) and we would fly with Qatar Airways again. I feel for you Maxi. Being 6'3 I often have issues. Leg space is key to a comfy long haul flight.
Hi there A Petrang, thanks for watching our video and for sharing your opinion. Yes, us tall people with long legs are put in some challenging situations on some airlines. We do not have the option to choose the exit seat as they often don´t have a window to film out of and we need that view for our videos. Thanks again for watching and commenting. Thanks for the great and complete review! I’ll be flying the A330 in a couple of weeks, in this way I van already alert my girlfriend with the IFE box, she always wants to sit at the window, but now the aisle seat is the beter seat :) but thanks again and keep up!

Heyy Maxi & Maro , my half blood sister took Qatar Airways & she told me that service wasn't any great , foods too was not great , sometimes back so that's why she always take
Emirates Airline's , so what's your take on it ?
Hi there Adam, thanks for watching and commenting. Despite the legroom issue on this flight we enjoy/enjoyed flying with Qatar Airways the service onboard is professional and friendly. The food we have experienced has been good although we could have used a little more sauce rather than rice for our first meal (shown in the video). Also a light breakfast with some yogurt or fruit would also (our opinion) be more appealing than the snackpack. We would fly with this airline again but if it was between Qatar and one of the Asian carriers we would choose one of them such as Thai Airways as we have always been very happy with the service we have received on those flights. We have as of yet not tried Emirates but have heard good things :-D
@@TravellerYT yes yaasss oh boy you guys should try Emirate's Airline's for me it's the best ever leg room was great foods were great service was great but one thing that wasn't great are the lavatory in the economy class since im on the chubby side but not over big size chubby lol but one thing that got me shock is that all the airlines stop giving amenity kits for economy class lol and metal spoons & forks for people to eat with & they always give the damn stupid plastic knife & spoon & fork it is so damn hard to cut your meats on the plate & oh boy oh yes hell no i couldn't cut the beef meat the sauce went flying onto my new t shirt but oh well accidents happens lol .

That legroom would have killed me but mags would have been fine . You were unlucky with the plane and such a shame . Food looked good and Bloody Mary spot on so not all bad . Great video as always 👍
Hi Kieron and Mags, thanks for watching and commenting.This is the first time we have experienced such a big inflight Entertainment Box under the seat, it must be an old system. That is a lot of space it occupies, clearly half of your legroom! Despite this legroom issue we did/do enjoy flying with Qatar Airways and the food and onboard service is good, although the inflight meal as you saw could have used some more sauce rather than so much rice. That said, if we had to choose between this airline or one of the Asian ones we would choose to fly with the Asian ones such as Thai Airways as, in our opinion, they give a little more. So sorry you are disappointed with your flight, my experience thus far has been on the triple 7 and the A350 and leg space has never been an issue.

Actually, we were not disappointed with the flight, just not happy with the legroom. Apart from that the Qatar Airways experience was just fine. We would not have a problem to fly with them again, but that being said there are other airlines we would choose over them if the route and price was similar.
