I have done the Google UX certification, this video was the entire course explained in 11 minutes! So clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much for this 😭 Other videos are too complex or don't explain all terms assuming the viewer knows them, this is really a gem of a video! ♥️

You’re so articulate, everything you say is so well said and valuable! One for your suggestion box- I’d be very interested in seeing some documents from a real project you’ve worked on (sanitized for privacy if necessary) - how you organize and structure your design file, how you have used site maps and wireframes- do you annotate them? How do you define your feature sets? Like a peek into the world of a real project. Thanks for all the knowledge you share!

Hey, I watched nearly all of your videos. Mainly the "How I became a UI/UX Designer in 3 months" gave me extreme motive. I was learning JavaScript. But After learning for 2 weeks I stopped it and after seeing your video it helped me to rejoin in Javascript again. Thank You.

Hey Mr Fathi, please don't stop, keep going.
It may be hard to stay motivated especially during a pandemic (we're still in lockdown in Malaysia). Try to stay consistent, maybe set 30mins to 1 hour a day for learn JS. Consistency always wins.

This is a clear explanation, Rachel. I got a premium course from a local online course but they explain the course unclearly, so I have to research more on Google or TH-cam to understand deeply about the UI/UIX. Keep creating more videos, Rachel, I'll be in touch. Thank you!

    Summary :
    Stages of design process :
    1.Discover( empathize with users) :
the goal of this step is to understand the user , and there's 2 types of research ( qualitative \ quantitive )
    2. Define the problem statement :
*Here we define the user's pain points and try to solve his problems with the rest of the team .
*Make sure that solving problem is "user centric " not about product metrics or business .
    3.Ideate :
Here's the stage where you go crazy and think of creative ideas for your design .
ex. crazy eights , sketch , storyboarding
    4.Prototype :
here your design is done in a mid- fidelty level .
    5. Test :
first , we make sure that all features and deliverable are done , then we conduct a test with the user himself to see his reactions , and take notes, insights from his experience.

hi. thank you for this content🙏
❓I'm a little confused about starting the design process. I participated in a course where the steps related to hypothetical research. Now in the real world, I am a bit confused about how to start research. For example, if I am looking for a job and want to work with a brand, how do I start research? Should I research the brand first? With what tools and measuring criteria? On the other hand, it is always said to put the user first and foremost, but when I cooperate with a group, I must first understand the problem and the request of that employer? is that correct?
I don't know why this part is not clear to me, maybe it's because I haven't done real work yet. Can you please talk more about this? Thankful

Hi Rachel, thanks for the informative video! I have some more questions about the "Test Design" phase, specifically when we "schedule a test with the users" - how are users testing it if all we have are mid-fidelity designs on Figma at this time? i.e. how do they interact with the designs? I would love to see a video on an example of a mid-fidelity design undergoing user testing. Sorry if this is obvious, I still have lots to learn about UX :)

I would like to know how you analyze data after research was done. Do you include stakeholders when analyzing? what methods do you use to analyze data? your process.

Amazing content!! Can you do a video diving deeper into user research, how it works a little more, and sending surveys or finding users? And maybe dive into scripts or questions?

What are your thoughts around the business who does the business and user research? It becomes a challenge for me to step in at the early stage of product discovery. I can only conduct stakeholder interviews (to extract the information from the business team) and do some user research after the MVP launch.
Based on the stakeholder interview, that's where I can define the business and user reqs, needs and problems then I create a proto-persona, etc... then move to next step from the design processes.

I am a designer using Ai, Psd, Ae, Pr, and I am looking for ui/ux design to further my career too.
Found your content where it gives me a lot of info to start and learn as a ui/ux designer. Furthermore, I am also looking into Malaysia market. 😊

I loved the idea how you present subscribe plea as a neat notification. It is way better than annoying flashes. Also, your channel is superb. You are my inspiration.

Hi Rachel, can we do UI UX on freelance basis rather than working with companies?

Hi Rachel, I would like to see you critique portfolios :) Also, are there good resources to receive feedback of your prototypes?
