uncommon opinion but because the Solar singlecut has a 6 in line headstock it negates the tedious tuning stability issues that most LP shapes have due to the strings not hitting the fretboard dead on but at an angle. So with that in mind the Solar singlecut is actually a better design than a traditional LP shape.
About the matte finish becoming glossed over time, 3M makes a 3000 grit sand paper in the form of a sponge that works well with a little bit of water. It will work perfect. It will not leave scratches or damage the paint and it will give you the same matte appearance.

**No Question** So last night I was casually hanging out at a rather chilled gig (Wolf in the Throne Room, At the Gates and Behemoth), the pit was raging, the bands were awesome. Can you imagine my surprise and joy seeing not 1 but 2 solar guitars being masterfully played by Jonas Stålhammar and Martin Larsson as At the Gates came onto the stage! I only saw the silhouette of the head stock and immediately knew they were Solar Guitars! What beautiful axes! I wanted to provide some positive feedback, it is so nice seeing how far your guitars have come and how such a new brand can make some huge changes in the industry! Keep up the hard work and as a casual guitar player I hope one to to also own one of your guitars! The new c-cut looks awesome and I really like the look of the Type E as well! Sorry for no question!

If you like bags, check out 5.11. I have the Rush 72. It's great. I am an Audio Engineer, Backline Technician and musician. My logic in getting this bag, over 5 years ago (it's still perfect), was that if it can survive warfare, it can survive a gig. The 72 is probably too big for most people but, when you wear as many hats in production as I do, it's great to have room for all my gear. Much love, brother. Keep kicking ass!
If playing heavy, creative guitar while being a great well known music personality is generic then I am motivated by the most generic guitarist in the world. Scrub Zero ain't got shit on you. You rock and educate and entertain us all every week. Thank you for being yourself.
Hej Ola! Thank you for doing another great video despite the illness! Get well soon! I love the Solar designs and I have to say that this single-cut is probably the only one that I like (I am generally not a fan of single-cuts) and it works great with the inline headstock. I've got two questions for you - what are your thoughts about multi-scale guitars and 8-string models? Are you considering such designs for Solar? Tack så mycket!

I just built my first kiesel and received it a few weeks ago. It's phenomenal. My build has a floyd rose, jumbo stainless frets, Flamed maple top, satin finish, ash body, rear natural finish, and a tung oil neck. I went with a few of the fancier options and ended up spending about $2000 but if you don't get crazy with the build you can get an exceptional value for what you get. For about $1300 total you can get an american made guitar with stainless frets in a hardtail configuration with a nice gig bag ($30 more for the hardcase option). You pick the size frets, paint color, satin vs gloss, Ebony fretboard standard. Pretty incredible. It won't be my last Kiesel that's for sure.
Hey Ola. You're a big inspiration to me and has been a huge help in realizing not to be afraid to release my music and to sound like myself. Those were big inhibitions for me, and hard obstacles to overcome. So, thank you for talking about that and showing people not to be afraid

Glad you checked out Intronaut. They are one of my favorite bands, after Gojira and Meshuggah for sure, but up there. They play some very hard-to-follow poly-rhythms, using the drummer to tie it all together, much like what was done on Capt Beefheart's 1960's track, Trout Mask Replica, only way more musical. I've probably learned more tough drumming tricks from Intronaut than I have from Meshuggah, which is saying something. You should really check out their tracks "Sul Ponticello" and "Digital Gerrymandering." Mind-blowing musicianship.

Ola. Intronaut, Dunable Guitars, owner, lead singer/guitarist. They were at NAMM this year. Check them out for sure. Although they fired their drummer last year, but are in the works with a new one. Good story right?
The whole point of starting a company is bringing your own style to your service or product. People don’t have to like it. I hadn’t seen the guitar until this video and I think it looks rad. I’ve always wanted to see a les Paul style with a straight six headstock and the reverse headstock looks amazing. It belongs there and compliments the style of the body based on it’s design.
Hey Ola, great meeting you at NAMM! The Question: For your fans who are professions with white collar jobs and have considerable talent in music, what advice do you have for helping make the decision to go 100% music? And what can one do to increase their likelihood of success (e.g. support a family)? Thanks for being an inspiration to so many out there! \m/

Hey there Ola! regards from Malaysia here. i've been a subscriber a long time ago actually, it's that i just havent been paying attention to your vids and i regretted it now that i should've had. i started digging to your vids because of your Solar guitars, i was really interested in the solar guitar(which im really going to get 1 or more one day, expensive or not,i will definitely get 1 or more). I did a marathon on your FAQs series, and shit totally worth it man.
and thanks to the SOLAR guitar and you i started to digging into your bands too and tbh i regretted it that i didnt find out about the bands sooner too. your band's musics are badass, this is probably the 1st time im into death metal. there's no question right now but i'll be sure to post relevant questions in the future video to come. And get well soon ( i hope this is not too long to read) but anyway, thank you so much. \m/
Get well soon, Ola! Something that would be really cool (probably only for me) is a 7-string with a Floyd Rose. I would buy that in a heart beat! I am eyeing that white one with the FR as well.
15:03 Check out Ola's monitor. Sick.
love the new guitar Ola, the head stock is perfect! maybe now the G string will stay in tune on a LP style guitar.
I would be sooo happy for that camera! (No?) Episode idea: Suitcases and bags for a traveling musician! I get obsessed with this when I travel. Actually, Solar travel gear would be awesome!
thanks dude! appreciate that u still do the FAQ
Get well soon man, wish you all the best!
Best video show of my week ... Each week..
I love how you can see the 7 string flying V prototype in the background here 24:09
I hope you have a quick recovery, get well soon Ola.
Ola. Intronaut, Dunable Guitars, owner, lead singer/guitarist. They were at NAMM this year. Check them out for sure. Although they fired their drummer last year, but are in the works with a new one. Good story right?
Drink lots of tea and keep hydrated my dude, love ya Ola
omg, coffee with Devin will be epic! Really looking forward to that. just bought tickets for Devins concert in Oslo :-D
I saw that you met Jeremiah Augustine at NAMM. I've followed his music for awhile and he turned me onto Solar guitars.
side note that excellent intronaught album was mixed by Devin Townsend You're welcome x
Hope you're better, so great that you are dedicated.
Another great FAQ Ola, and thank you for pronouncing my last name correctly. Also keep your logo on the single cut it looks TUFFING!
