NumberOne#1 Emilie: *guards against random attacks that he can easily dodge otherwise* Also Emilie: *doesn’t guard against attacks that can clearly be guarded due to the attack’s start up and confined space*
I’ve noticed that he has a tendency to panic, not notice some tells, and/or resorts to flying in the air to dodge attacks-rather than sticking to the ground, using jumps and taking advantage of the invincibility used in some of his attacks, or using the guard function. Or even using the dodge maneuver that, in the Kirby series, was introduced in this game.
I was noticing that in the Sectonia fight, too. You know that teleport-to-backslash thing? I was wondering why Chuggaa kept trying to dodge it, instead of charging through with Burning Attack.
To be fair, that's a trap I've seen a LOT of players fall into when playing Kirby games. Going for a playstyle of "mash attack with given ability, and just tank the hits". This is why I always do my bosses without an ability. I'm a much bigger fan of actually learning their patterns and only being able to use their attacks against them through Star Bullets.
