Great video and very helpful. I'm a new-b and will be getting one of these tx's with ELRS built in. First question at 4:35 when u r setting up the Model internal RF Mode for ELRS. Do you have to create a model for eaxh aircraft? The reason im asking is i bought a OMP M2 RTF kit and it was preprogrammed . I had 2 other OMP helis that i wanted to bind to the transmitter. So, i copied the exisitng model and created 2 new ones to bind them to the transmitter. So i realized that i each of those helicopters will connect to the transmitter without changing models. Which i was suprised to find out.
There's a few options, but for me, the easiest is to create a model for each type, say quad, helicopter, wing, plane etc. I then use a bind phrase on the TX and the same phrase on each RX. Just select the model you want to use, and that's it. Dead simple.
@WhirlyBloke I'm am saying that was what I did. But found put by accident that the model will initialize with any of my OMP setups. It has confused me as to why that is happening. I fly spektrum and I'm used to creating models for each aircraft I want to bind and I know that until I select that model in my transmitter it will not initialize. Not the same with my radiomaster.

My first real radio. I ordered it with the TBS Crossfire Nano module to go with my first real drone Rekon4 FR TBS. Can not figure out how to set the radio up for TBS Crossfire. Don't know if it has to have an SD card inserted for it to work or if it needs firmware updates for the radio or the TBS module. Can not figure out how to bind the drone. I need help. If you can
1. First, make sure that your TBS Crossfire module is properly installed in the Zorro. You should be able to see the module protruding from the back of the radio. 2. Check to see if the firmware on your Zorro and TBS Crossfire module are up to date. You can find the latest firmware on the Radiomaster and TBS websites. Follow the instructions carefully to update the firmware. 3. Insert a microSD card into the Zorro. The SD card is not required for the TBS Crossfire module to work, but it is recommended for backing up and restoring your settings. 4. Turn on your Zorro and navigate to the "Model" menu. Create a new model for your Rekon4 FR TBS drone and select the appropriate settings, such as the number of channels, frame rate, and failsafe settings. 5. Next, navigate to the "Crossfire" menu and select "TX Setup". Make sure that the "CRSF TX Enable" setting is set to "On". You can also adjust the power output and other settings here. 6. To bind your drone to the TBS Crossfire module, navigate to the "Crossfire" menu and select "Bind". Follow the instructions carefully to put your TBS Crossfire receiver into binding mode and bind it to your TBS Crossfire module. 7. Once your drone is bound, you can test the controls by going to the "Monitor" menu and checking the input values for each channel. If you're still having trouble, consult the user manual for your Zorro and TBS Crossfire module for more detailed instructions. You can also reach out to the Radiomaster and TBS customer support teams for assistance.
Thanks, dude. There are little differences in my Zorro and maybe because it is the updated version. for example, the turt mode in play truck is not available. or maybe it has a different name.

That's easy. Just use a free text to speech convertor like Polly aws.amazon.com/polly/, choose a voice you like and download or record the audio as a .wav file. You can then put it in the sounds directory on the SD card.
The Zorro supports multiple protocols, including Crossfire (CRSF) and ExpressLRS (ELRS). When you switch the Zorro to CRSF mode, it will only communicate using the CRSF protocol. However, you can switch back to ELRS mode to communicate with an ELRS receiver. In order to bind a receiver to your Radiomaster Zorro, you will need to make sure that the receiver is compatible with the protocol you are using. For example, if you are using the CRSF protocol, you will need a CRSF-compatible receiver to bind to your Zorro. If you are using the ELRS protocol, you will need an ELRS-compatible receiver to bind to your Zorro. It's important to note that not all receivers are compatible with both protocols, so it's important to check the compatibility before attempting to bind a receiver to your Zorro.

Did this and now when I select expressLRS on system the radio gets stuck on loading… have to turn it off and back on. Can’t connect to my drone anymore either. Lol.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the firmware update you performed on your Radiomaster Zorro. When the radio gets stuck on loading after selecting ExpressLRS on the system, it could indicate a firmware error or a compatibility issue between the firmware and the rest of the system. To troubleshoot the issue, try the following steps: Check the firmware version: Make sure that you have installed the correct firmware version for your radio and that it is compatible with your drone. You can check the firmware version and release notes on the manufacturer's website. Re-flash the firmware: If you suspect that the firmware update caused the issue, try re-flashing the firmware using the manufacturer's recommended procedure. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully and do not interrupt the flashing process. Reset the radio: Try resetting the radio to its default settings. This can help resolve any conflicts or errors that may be causing the issue. You can usually do this by going to the system settings menu and selecting "reset to default." Check the connections: Make sure that all the cables and connections between the radio and your drone are properly connected and secure. If none of these steps solve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend a repair or replacement for your radio.

Zorro CC2500 version can bind with flysky rx....?
The RadioMaster Zorro uses the CC2500 chip for its RF communication. However, the compatibility with FlySky receivers depends on the specific FlySky receiver you are using.
The RadioMaster Zorro supports multiple protocols such as FrSky, DSM2/DSMX, and FlySky. To bind with a FlySky receiver, you need to ensure that the receiver is compatible with the FlySky protocol.
You can check the user manual or product specification of your FlySky receiver to see if it is compatible with the FlySky protocol. If your FlySky receiver is compatible with the FlySky protocol, you should be able to bind it with the RadioMaster Zorro.

Did this and now when I select expressLRS on system the radio gets stuck on loading… have to turn it off and back on. Can’t connect to my drone anymore either. Lol.
Never mind. Somehow turned internal RF off. Turned it back on and all good again.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the firmware update you performed on your Radiomaster Zorro. When the radio gets stuck on loading after selecting ExpressLRS on the system, it could indicate a firmware error or a compatibility issue between the firmware and the rest of the system.
To troubleshoot the issue, try the following steps:
Check the firmware version: Make sure that you have installed the correct firmware version for your radio and that it is compatible with your drone.
You can usually do this by going to the system settings menu and selecting "reset to default."
Check the connections: Make sure that all the cables and connections between the radio and your drone are properly connected and secure.
If none of these steps solve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend a repair or replacement for your radio.
