🌞Leave your sunscreen questions below! Might make another episode to conclude the sunscreen series. i.e) how to apply sunscreen under makeup, is higher SPF the better? Etc!🌴💚
Shaurya Hegde, I know right?? Most dermatologists have been worse than useless to me. Constantly trying to push retinoids on top of anti-bacterials, benzoyl peroxide, anti-biotics, AND oral meds. And not one has brought up sunscreen or maintaining the skin barrier to me, I always had to bring it up. 😕
OMG SO TRUE. They kinda glance at you and then throw a bunch of retinoid samples at you in a little paper bag @_@ And when you tell them what ingredients have worked for you and what haven't, they look at you like you're wasting their time. >:(
I've been waiting sooo long for this video!!!! I've been holding off buying sunscreen just so I can get your opinion. I am so fed up with sunscreen. It either makes me greasy, powdery, itchy, watery-eyed, or all of the above.
wow, you are by far the most informative youtuber ive ever seen! you can tell you really research in to what you're doing and i really really appreciate how much effort you put in for your viewers :) idk you can just tell you actually care about our skin and give your honest opinions :)) thank you!!
Thank you Liah for showing us that it's normal to have not-so-perfect skin. Every time I watch the beauty TH-camrs, I feel very demoralised because all of them have super flawless and perfect skin. You're such an inspiration for being true and showing us the reality :)
YAY! I found the Derma-E mineral face sunscreen! Hi Liah, I found your videos last week. I have moderate-severe acne. Your videos have such great info. I've incorporated some of your advice in my routine this week and my face is doing better. (Using facial cleanser only at night and using water in the morning to preserve my faces natural oil).(minimizing the use of harsh chemicals that dry the skin; for me that was Salicylic acid and benyozl peroxide.)(using sunscreen..Derma-e)(using oil cleansers to remove makeup)(and..I've cut back on physical exfoliation) .....I think my face is less inflamed, less dry, with less breakouts. I also have incorporated tons of antioxidant berries in my diet..cut out most dairy and excess sugars..and I started exercising. Hopefully i make my body and face happier. Thanks for these videos!
I know this comment is irrelevant to the video but my the ordinary products arrived today!!!! im so excited to try out the niacinamide serum and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate cream!! hope it works for me
I can't imagine how much time and hard work you have put in the process of making this video. I really, really appreciate that! Thanks so much, Liah 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Yayy. recommendations is here!! Thank you for this video :) Can you do a review on Japan brand sunscreen because I heard many great things about them...
always love watching your videos, definitely worth the wait! Can you make video about reapplying sunscreen? how often should we reapply and how to incorporate it with the make up? and how about sun cushion? thank you so much for your hardwork!
Oh! You have to try Japanese sunscreens. My favorite one is Biore. Not heavy on the skin. Does not leave a white cast. Does not break me out. I have been using it religiously every single day. 😊😊 It does contain alcohol but so far it did not make my skin itchy or sensitive.
Just purchased the Derma e sunscreen! Thank you for taking the time to film and test these products! I hope it works, I do trust derma e, I have used their tea tree treatment oil and also their body wash, both in which I love.
I know you've done many videos about the best skincare for acne prone skin but could you please make a video on the best foundations/bb creams? I know so many have irritating ingredients so it would be very useful to have a guide!!
Mychelle Tinted Sunscreen is the BEST and most underrated. No suffocating silicones, no oils, no other sneaky pore clogging ingredients (I have a list lol). Perfect, perfect formula. I love it! No one ever mentions it.
the kiss my face cool sport for face and neck sunscreen is lovely!! it's spf 30 with zinc oxide, has lots of antioxidant ingredients, and actually looks good under makeup! it can be tacky and make your makeup cakey, but if you give it time to sink in and put your moisturizer on top of it makeup looks great on top. thank you for making such informative videos! ❤
can you do a video on alcohol in skincare products. Is it really that bad? because i have acne prone/ combination skin and i have not found a difference in with and without alcohol. IMO, i think it really helps oily skin to keep oils at bay. and my skin seem to look better. if alcohol dries your skin, would it be better to use a really hydrating moisturiser and use the alcohol product? Also about silicones please? current products with alcohol I'm using: Garnier Pure Active Micellar, Dior Forever Foundation, Biore sunscreen (whitening)
You are absolutely amazing for making this & the other sunscreen videos. My Dermatologist just simply said “you must use sunscreen” without considering the fact that it would be nearly impossible for me, a deeper skinned black woman. Your videos helped me to understand why I have avoided SPF for so many years due to the irritation & now what ingredients to search for. I can’t thank you enough!❤️
Highly recommend the Paulas choice ultra light wrinkle defense spf 30. It's a zinc oxide sunscreen with antioxidants. Sunscreens break me out easily and or make my skin look super oily this one didn't, I've been using it for over 2 years :)
Hi, I just saw your video, and I use the Skin79 non-chemical sunscreen which I find works very well. I looked at the ingredient list and I think this one would be a good one for people to try. It has some silicone, has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (doesn't give percentages), and antioxidants. It has centella asiatica, chia seeds extract and vitamin e to name a few. The only bad ingredient that I see is stearic acid. It works very well for me. It leaves zero white cast, blends perfectly, absorbs fast, and makeup goes over it really nicely. I use a gel moisturiser and this tones down some of the shine I get from that as well. I have combo skin leaning towards oily that is acne prone. It hasn't caused me to break out at all and I have been using it for 3 months. I think it should be given a try by everyone that has acne prone skin in need of a good sunblock. It costs $22 for 50ml. And I have to say I absolutely love it, with this one I think I found my holy grail sunblock on the first try.
This is so amazing! I can only imagine the time, research, and careful compilation of your findings you had done to create this video. Thank you, Liah!
Thank you so much!!! Your videos are seriously the best! They are so informative yet in no way boring.I seriously appreciate all the work you do! I would love to see more of this sunscreen series. I'm also very interested in finding more about cleansing oils for acne prone skin. Thank you as always 🌴🌴🌴
I honestly use SPF 50 children's sunscreen. It does have a pretty heavy white cast once it's first applied but after about three minutes, it soaks in quickly and I go back to my normal skin tone. It's actually quite moisturising and it feels a little oily at first, but within ten minutes that goes away too. I love it and use it daily. Sometimes children's products are handy, especially since they're marketed to not harm a child.
I didn't put it in the list as it doesn't include zinc oxide and it's more chemical uv filter biased. Nothing against cosrx sunscreen but I personally love the picks I showed in this video! :) If it's working for you, keep using it!!
Luv your videos! So honest and all based on experience! For my sensitive acne prone + combo skin, the Cosrx aloe soothing sun cream SPF 50 + PA +++ works so well. I've been using it since September. Don't ever skip sunscreen guys ! It's the one of most important step to protect your skin! :)
thank you for your incredibly educational and well-informed videos! you go straight to the point with concise, detailed information and don't ramble about personal/irrrelevant stuff like other youtubers.
Hi Liah! I live in Canada and my only friend that wears sunscreen regularly is Korean. It seems like a struggle to even talk about sunscreen protection with my other friends and family. I was just watching this and my dad came by and your video actually sparked a discussion about proper sunscreen use, application, and safety regulations! Thank you; it's the first time I've had an in-depth discussion about this with someone who isn't already actively a sunscreen user :)
Hi Jess! I'm so glad I made a little impact in your fam's life!! :) Show this video to your family (or friends), they would want to wear sunscreen right away! th-cam.com/video/o9BqrSAHbTc/w-d-xo.html
I've used it too! The texture is a little watery and comfortable to apply, and there is no whitecast at all after using it! Personally it is the best sunscreen for me. But... as Liah said, if you are sensitive to alcohol, it'd be better to avoid using it!
you are the best dermatologist in the world! Not ever one that I have visited in my life has ever make a significant effects on my acne! But you did it and I thank you! you are amazing I love your channel ! My acne is clearing I'm only washing my face in the morning and before sleep and I'm seeing results! Thank you again!
My nephew got heat sickness from clogged skin due to poorly washed off chemical sunscreen. I'm so grateful for this video and your knowledge!!! Thank you for this so much!!!💕💕💕
I thought I would add that I have tried the Bare Minerals prep step, and I love it! It layers so well under makeup - no white cast (on my fair skin), and no pilling! It has been so hard to find one that doesn't pill, and this really delivers.
Yes! Also, I'm so bad - sometimes I'm too in a hurry to let my skincare sink in like I should, and that one lets me not have to worry about that so much. Very fuss fee.
stephanie s I didn't see that one on Sephora. Although they have a sunscreen called Sun silk drops I think. Very interested in it but with it being $46 .USD I passed for the drunk elephant umbra sheer!! Still would like to try the brand one day!
i think your skincare videos might be my favourite! they're so educational! i'd definitely recommend heliocare- as my dermatologist says it's the perfect hybrid, so it does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as well as antioxidants!
Hi Liah, I've been following your channel for 6 months now and I learned more about skincare from your videos than I've managed to get by my own trial error experience. Thank you tremendously for putting so much effort into making these highly informative and no crap style, to the point videos. I've never ever used sunscreen on a daily basis and to my shock it has the worst effects for an acne prone skin type person like me as long as I get to know from your videos. So I'm digging for a face sunscreen but sadly your recommendations cover Korea and USA market, and can't find these products in Turkey, where I'm residing. I've tried to get them through Amazon but again sadly Amazon doesn't ship any of these to Turkey 🙄 on top of that I'm vegan and trying to search for a vegan friendly, no white cast, suitable for acne prone skin type, well textured for make up application on top of it kind of sunscreen, that I can actually find here in Turkey. Some tough search as you can see😂 If you have any recommendations by any chance on vegan sunscreen products I would appreciate it a lot. Keep up the good work and best of luck for your beauty line🙏🙏🙏 hope it ships to Turkey at some point in near future🤞🤞🤞
Hey, finally I've found a solution! Thought you might wanna know as well. It's Derma-e natural mineral sun screen broad spectrum spf 30. It's an American brand but imported to Turkey. It's vegan, contains none of the ingredients that you've iterated as potentially harmful to the body, no essential oils, no artificial fragrance, and also it's reef safe. Has 20% zinc oxide, leaves no white cast, easy to apply, so it seems allround solution for me 💓😇
If you do a vegan cosmetics review someday in future, might be useful. And I would love to see if you decide to indicate any vegan products or include some in your videos🤞🤞
Mina dia yes it has zinc oxide 23.8% I'm not sure about the antioxidants. But this sunscreen has been a skin changer in my skin care routine! I don't have breakouts like I did... I would have a lot of breakouts every week. I was so stressed but watching Liahs videos I Decided to start using sunscreen. it's been helping me having less breakouts. Actually I don't have any breakouts now (woo!) Not sure if your dealing with any acne issues 😅 overall love this sunscreen! Would recommend this to everyone I know 😊
Mina dia I really hope the sunscreen helps you out! Also try the glam glow mask (white container) you can get it at Sephora and purchase the travel size. It's $20z the bigger one cost $70 😭 that also helped my skin out a lot too!
I think they're beautiful in texture however some chemical uv filters have a high controversy on its toxicity so it comes down to individual's decision really! I personally can't use 100% chemical sunscreen as my skin flares up with rashes right away :( !
Almost bought the EltaMD, mineral and chemical hybrid, but then I read that Octinoxate is toxic. 😕 I'm sad because it has great reviews, but I don't want to put that in my body.
This comment is a year old so you may have found this out but octinoxate is not “toxic”. It’s perfectly safe and posits no risk to human health. Sadly, there are conglomerations who seek to spread politically-motivated misinformation about sunscreen.
Hi Liah! Just want to tell you about the sunscreen I've been using! It's the Missha All Around Safe Block Water Proof Sun. It's a physical sunscreen with minimum white cast and very good antioxidants such as Licorice, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Soybean Seed Extract among others! You should definitely try it! It's my HG this summer!
What about biore? I've heard that they're the best sunscreen. Also how are L'Oréal sunscreens? Recently I also saw that mica is supposed to be a better sunscreen than oxides +antioxidants.
Shayri Garg biore isn't good for dry or acne prone skin types, it has a high content of alcohol and not a good ingredients list, but it's a good sunscreen in general if it doesn't break you out and isn't dying. cheap too, but small bottle.
thalianightshade I've heard 1 tbsp is ideal. If you just type in "how much sunscreen should you use"" you can find videos. Go by someone qualified though, not a so called guru.
And I just wanted to say: THANK YOU!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH . Your videos are always so informative and I'm looking forward to the next video. Love you ❤
I super love your videos and products that you are using :) I am really having much struggles with acne and acne marks. I would like to try some of the products however I'm having problems in finding the korean items here in Philippines :(
have you ever tried the Neogen's Day Light Protection Sun Screen? curious on your thoughts about that one! i've purchased it and am going to try it out next after my cosrx sunscreen.
Liah Yoo 리아유 this one does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide listed in the ingredients with other chemical sunscreens but not the percentage of ingredients, so I thought I would ask! Thanks for your response! ^^ 🌴🌴🌴
You're honestly the most informative beauty blogger ever! I love how reliable your information is and your passion for skincare really shines through your videos. :) Automatic thumbs up!
I didn't put it in the list as it doesn't include zinc oxide and it's more chemical uv filter biased. Nothing against cosrx sunscreen but I personally love the picks I showed in this video! :)
+. ファントムハイヴ Mineral sunscreens are more stubborn to stay and they're generally water resistant, so oil cleanser would be a more gentle approach to remove them
Liah Yoo 리아유 If I may add a great sunscreen that possibly check marks your criterias (mine as well), MyChelle Sun Shield Liquid Tint spf50 with 16.1% zinc oxide and antioxidants such as agave leaf extract, bentonite, safflower, and vitamin e. This is sold at Wholefoods Market in the U.S and also on Amazon (cheaper in store tho). Also, what do you think about the ingredient list of Dr.Jart Tiger Grass Cream spf 30 - zinc oxide and titanium dioxide percentage unknown. But with Centella as the second ingredient on the list. Would love to know your thoughts and I hope you try the MyChelle sunscreen! 💗
_.nonaa me! i just started using it and it hasn't broken me out (yet). it has heaps of alcohol in it tho so be careful if you're sensitive. i would apply no-sebum/loose powder over it because my face would still get oily throughout the day
seri farrehaini it hasn't broken me out yet either but because its so thin i feel like its not doing anything.. i have sensitive skin but I haven't got any irritation from it either
_.nonaa i have it and i love that it absorbs quickly but i just feel like it dries me out a bit and i dont like how theres some citrus oils/ingredients in there. then again Im acne prone and dry not oily so someone who is oily may like it much more. its also intended to be for incidental exposure to sun and I don't find it substansial for long term exposure to sun. I'd rather move on and find something else. ive been contemplating the japanese nivea one instead :)
I luv listening to ur research. Ur on the ball girl. U make it all understandable n interesting. U r a wonderful teacher.....I luv what u do for us. Thank u Xs a million.
Has anyone from the US found the Derma E Mineral Sunscreen in store anywhere ?! I'm surprised Amazon doesn't carry the Mineral Sunscreen, but the antioxidant one and I'm guessing they're completely different products. Where have you guys purchased the Make P:rem UV Defense Me Natural Suncream SPF+ 50 PA+++ because I can't find it anywhere online without it being like $60+ on Ebay ! WHAT
Yes I have both body and face Derma E spf's. I got them at my health food store. They have been reformulated and seem much better cosmetically from the original formula. Both are wonderful on the face. NO white cast! I think though that they are making me break out slightly so I have discontinued.
Is there any affordable sunscreens that you can recommend? All of these are highly expensive for most people. I cannot afford to buy anything over 15 pounds and even that is a lot of money. I know the investment is worth it but it is just not feasible for me to spend so much on a single product. Some good sunscreen recommendations for avarage people (under 15 pounds) would be highly appreciated
A study in 2011 published in the American Journal of Dermatology showed that antioxidants in sunscreens have little to no antioxidant capability because they're usually unstable in sunlight. Though stable antioxidants like tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate might still be useful.
I found your channel via ssinnim and I'm so glad I did! You have to be one of the most informative and helpful beauty TH-camrs out there! Thank you so much for your videos. Much appreciated xx
Liah! Thank you for this awesome vid! I wanted to share a mineral sunscreen that I think you might end of loving! It's Pratima Neem Rose Face Sunscreen SPF 30. The only sunscreen ingredient is micronized zinc oxide and you don't get that whitecast when you put it on! And it's other ingredients are good for your skin/harmless too: Brahmi, lecithin, neem, shatavari, xantham gum, distilled water, gotu kola, licorice, rose and vit e! I'd love to see you do a video on this product! :)
🌞Leave your sunscreen questions below! Might make another episode to conclude the sunscreen series. i.e) how to apply sunscreen under makeup, is higher SPF the better? Etc!🌴💚
Liah Yoo 리아유 How to reapply sunscreen over makeup too 🌴❤️
Hi, Ms Liah.
Please do a video about how to prevent acne while exercising 🌴
Based on the SPF level, how frequent should we reapply the sunscreen? 🌴🌴🌴
If I have oily skin should I choose sunscreen that give a matte finish or a moisturizing one? Will it make my skin more oily ?
Have you ever try out Neogen's Day Light Protection Sun Screen? If you have, what's your thought? If you haven't, review in the future perhaps? Thanks
My new obsession with skincare and your videos are extremely dangerous to my bank account 😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha you're so cute!!
choua xiong same for me 😥😥
choua xiong haha... exactly I feel the same!
Pretty much. But my skin has never looked this good, so it's worth it. 👌🏻
Me too just drop $100 but it should last a few months at least
you are so much more helpful than my dermatologist
+Isabelle H omg hahaha 😂😂😂😅
Isabelle H exactly !he recommended la shield. It's good but it doesn't have niacinamide or antioxidants.. boring sunscreen.plus fragrance
exactly!!! my dermatologist charge a ridiculously amount (the highest in the city) and still he would only see me for less than 5 mins
OMG SO TRUE. They kinda glance at you and then throw a bunch of retinoid samples at you in a little paper bag @_@ And when you tell them what ingredients have worked for you and what haven't, they look at you like you're wasting their time. >:(

certain alcohol is bad, fatty alcohols are good for the skin, look up the good and bad ones.
In general, fatty alcohols = good and non-fatty alcohols = bad. There are some exceptions but overall this is the simplest cheat sheet
You are absolutely amazing for making this & the other sunscreen videos. I'm also very interested in finding more about cleansing oils for acne prone skin. Thank you as always 🌴🌴🌴
I need to know how to layer sunscreen and makeup without feeling heavy in hot and humid country 😭
I honestly use SPF 50 children's sunscreen. It does have a pretty heavy white cast once it's first applied but after about three minutes, it soaks in quickly and I go back to my normal skin tone. she has a beautiful skin!
I'm showing your videos to my future children. Extremely informative and genuine!!! I'm way too happy!!!
How about the COSRX ones? I've been using it on my acne prone skin and it works wonderful! It's also light on the skin and almost have no whitecast.
I didn't put it in the list as it doesn't include zinc oxide and it's more chemical uv filter biased. Nothing against cosrx sunscreen but I personally love the picks I showed in this video! :) If it's working for you, keep using it!!
Thank you for the rapid reply! Glad to know the reason why it doesn't make to your list as I'm still a newbie in sunscreen world 😅
Plz make the latest version on this video , I need sunscreen for my oily acne prone sensitive skin .
Luv your videos! So honest and all based on experience! For my sensitive acne prone + combo skin, the Cosrx aloe soothing sun cream SPF 50 + PA +++ works so well. I've been using it since September.

what's up by the way ?
is it good ?
FINALLY!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 기다리고이쪄쪄요!!ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 늘 좋은영상 감사합니다
How about the biore sunscreen ? 🌴🌴🌴
So many people talk about it and it's holding me back due to the (very) high alcohol content!
miyaa Ive used the biore one before and the sunscreen smells like alcohol
I've used it too! The texture is a little watery and comfortable to apply, and there is no whitecast at all after using it! Personally it is the best sunscreen for me. But... as Liah said, if you are sensitive to alcohol, it'd be better to avoid using it!
it breaks me out 😥 dehydrated acne prone skin here...
I just bought a biore sunscreen..
you are the best dermatologist in the world! Not ever one that I have visited in my life has ever make a significant effects on my acne! But you did it and I thank you! you are amazing I love your channel ! My acne is clearing I'm only washing my face in the morning and before sleep and I'm seeing results! Thank you again!
OMG I want to give you a HUG
Thank you Liah for your enormous work that you do to inform and help us! Greetings from Spain
Thank you so much for your great job. You really help me to choose the right sunscreen. 💌
Brilliant video!!! Are you a dermatologist?!
when it comes to skin care ur my fav
Thanks Flora !
My nephew got heat sickness from clogged skin due to poorly washed off chemical sunscreen. I'm so grateful for this video and your knowledge!!! Thank you for this so much!!!💕💕💕
한국 선크림도 더 리뷰해 주시면 안될까여 ㅠ
Your channel is my new obsession ♥♥
I just bought a sunscreen today..😂😂 Should have watch your video first😥
Aw wrong timing!! Sorry!
me too haha
I thought I would add that I have tried the Bare Minerals prep step, and I love it! It layers so well under makeup - no white cast (on my fair skin), and no pilling! It has been so hard to find one that doesn't pill, and this really delivers.
+Kendra Rodgers I heard so many good things about it!
Yes! Also, I'm so bad - sometimes I'm too in a hurry to let my skincare sink in like I should, and that one lets me not have to worry about that so much. Very fuss fee.
Could you try the COOLA mineral sunscreen stick? It's packed with antioxidants and has a high Zinc oxide percentage! Only $26
stephanie s I didn't see that one on Sephora. Although they have a sunscreen called Sun silk drops I think. Very interested in it but with it being $46 .USD I passed for the drunk elephant umbra sheer!! Still would like to try the brand one day!
Only? :')
Only??
i think your skincare videos might be my favourite! they're so educational! i'd definitely recommend heliocare- as my dermatologist says it's the perfect hybrid, so it does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as well as antioxidants!
+Sophialism interesting! Thanks 😍
I dont use any form of make up, not even sunscreen. But I really enjoy getting "educated" by your vids lmao.
+MJ PARK Hope I can convince you to add sunscreen tho😱
Liah Yoo 리아유 YOU DID!!!
Great explanation and thorough explanations and reviews. 👍
Thanks sarah!
Innisfree Eco safety no sebum sunblock and Etude house sunprise mild airy finish also use 'physical' filter only. Have you tried those?
Yes, I'd love to your take on the Eco Safety (now reformulated to the "Triple Care") Sunblock Liah!
innisfree no sebum sunblock are super dry for me. I use it for humid, super hot and sweaty climates haha. The etude house is my HG
etude house sunprise mild airy finish is my HG too!!
innisfree no sebum sunblock has the worst white cast
The Etude House sunprise mild airy finish is my favourite one, but idk the % of the Zinc Oxide :/
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!! SO GLAD IT'S FINALLY HERE 💕
this came out AFTER i bought my sunscreen :))))))))
Haha your profile pic!! XD
Thank you so so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment x
And I would love to see if you decide to indicate any vegan products or include some in your videos🤞🤞
have you been used cosrx shooting aloe sun screen? please review it
paula's choice mineral calm relief spf is awesome
I use the bareMinerals sunscreen and I absolutely love it 😍 helps with my acne prone skin 👍
Hannah Yoon does it have zinc oxide and antioxidants?
Mina dia yes it has zinc oxide 23.8% I'm not sure about the antioxidants. But this sunscreen has been a skin changer in my skin care routine! I don't have breakouts like I did... I would have a lot of breakouts every week. I was so stressed but watching Liahs videos I Decided to start using sunscreen. it's been helping me having less breakouts. Actually I don't have any breakouts now (woo!) Not sure if your dealing with any acne issues 😅 overall love this sunscreen! Would recommend this to everyone I know 😊
Hannah Yoon omg yes girl I am dealing with it 😭 but wow that's great! Sounds like an awesome sunscreen. Definitely gonna go try it. Thanks 🙏
Mina dia I really hope the sunscreen helps you out! Also try the glam glow mask (white container) you can get it at Sephora and purchase the travel size. It's $20z the bigger one cost $70 😭 that also helped my skin out a lot too!
Hannah Yoon I was actually looking for a good mask. So thank you lol you're more helpful than my dermatologist 😂 and I love sephora products 👌
OHMYY ive been waiting for this😍😍saranghae liah unnieee
Saranghae!!
What do you think about only chemicals-based sunscreen products?
I think they're beautiful in texture however some chemical uv filters have a high controversy on its toxicity so it comes down to individual's decision really! I personally can't use 100% chemical sunscreen as my skin flares up with rashes right away :( !
Thank you so much! Love your channel!
Your videos are super super informative ! It work as a guidance while shopping for skincare.
Almost bought the EltaMD, mineral and chemical hybrid, but then I read that Octinoxate is toxic. 😕 I'm sad because it has great reviews, but I don't want to put that in my body.
Kelly Brown same here :((
This comment is a year old so you may have found this out but octinoxate is not “toxic”.
Michelle Bushie Thank you.
I used it for 1 month and it broke my skin really bad that i have to see a dermatologist for the first time
One of your fans here! Really love all your videos!! Thank you so much Liah!! Can't wait for the next one
Hi, Liah! How much sunscreen should be applied? Because I see some vids where people use only a few and some put a lot.
thalianightshade They say 1/4 teaspoon but for some people it's too much so 1/6 can be used instead.
thalianightshade I've heard 1 tbsp is ideal. If you just type in "how much sunscreen should you use"" you can find videos. Go by someone qualified though, not a so called guru.
+Tasha Marks Wow! 1 tbsp is a lot! :O
how about how often you should reapply and how do you reapply it through out the day?
And I just wanted to say: THANK YOU!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH . Your videos are always so informative and I'm looking forward to the next video. Love you ❤
can you suggest for items that can be found in local pharmacy or stores.thanks
I super love your videos and products that you are using :) I am really having much struggles with acne and acne marks. I would like to try some of the products however I'm having problems in finding the korean items here in Philippines :(
have you ever tried the Neogen's Day Light Protection Sun Screen? curious on your thoughts about that one! i've purchased it and am going to try it out next after my cosrx sunscreen.
+Tracy Feng Mm no I haven't as I'm more interested in mineral or mineral hybrid ones!
Liah Yoo 리아유 this one does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide listed in the ingredients with other chemical sunscreens but not the percentage of ingredients, so I thought I would ask! Thanks for your response! ^^ 🌴🌴🌴
Tracy Feng I've been using that sunscreen for a while now and I love it!!
You're honestly the most informative beauty blogger ever!
I love how reliable your information is and your passion for skincare really shines through your videos. :)
Automatic thumbs up!
+Kassy Marie Thanks Kassy!!!
Hi Liah! What do you think about Cosrx's Aloe sunscreen? 😊✨
I didn't put it in the list as it doesn't include zinc oxide and it's more chemical uv filter biased. Nothing against cosrx sunscreen but I personally love the picks I showed in this video! :)
Thank you, Liah! This video is sooo thorough and informative! 🌴🐾
It also contains silicone (Dimethicone)
:( damn I just recently bought one
abbb 😕 that sucks, it's what i'm using right now too
I was expecting way less options! Great work!! Thank you Liah!🌴❤️
What do you think about Heimish Artless Glow base? It's a makeup base with SPF 50+ PA+++. Have you tried it/ can you review it? :)
your discribing way is very good. everything in detail. deep information. i like it. keep uploading like this explation
Do I have to remove sunscreen with an oil cleanser ( or make up remover ) or is a cleansing gel enough ?
+. ファントムハイヴ Mineral sunscreens are more stubborn to stay and they're generally water resistant, so oil cleanser would be a more gentle approach to remove them
Thanks for the reviews! Really need to switch to mineral based sunscreen
PALM TREE AND LOTS OF GREEN HEARTS Love your content, I am mexican American. I love korean beauty thank you for your dedication to inform ♡♡♡♡♡
Please hit the like and share this video with your friends if you found it informative😚💚🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴💋
Can you do a review on Thank You Farmer Sun Project Light Sun Essence SPF50+ PA+++
what do you think of the cosrx aloe soothing sun cream? pls reply liah, ily!
You're so pretty! Thank you for the video just in time for summer.
Has anyone with acne prone skin used Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence??
_.nonaa me! i just started using it and it hasn't broken me out (yet). it has heaps of alcohol in it tho so be careful if you're sensitive. i would apply no-sebum/loose powder over it because my face would still get oily throughout the day
seri farrehaini it hasn't broken me out yet either but because its so thin i feel like its not doing anything.. i have sensitive skin but I haven't got any irritation from it either
seri farrehaini do you use the gel version or essence?
the gel version because i feel like it's heavier and has more substance? let's just hope that it does its job well
_.nonaa i have it and i love that it absorbs quickly but i just feel like it dries me out a bit and i dont like how theres some citrus oils/ingredients in there. then again Im acne prone and dry not oily so someone who is oily may like it much more. its also intended to be for incidental exposure to sun and I don't find it substansial for long term exposure to sun.
WHAT
I think the main difference is former one has 20% zinc oxide and the latter (antioxidant) has 16%.
Yes I have both body and face Derma E spf's. I got them at my health food store. They have been reformulated and seem much better cosmetically from the original formula. Both are wonderful on the face. NO white cast! I think though that they are making me break out slightly so I have discontinued.
You can get them on iherb and Vitacost!
Sprouts
감사합니다! 1편 나오고 2편나오길 기다리고 기다리다, 나오자마자 prem sun cream 샀어요!!! 추천 감사합니당!
Nothing is available in my country. 🇵🇭 😭😭
some are in lazada pero ang mamahal from 2k to 3k :(
일본제품 아넷사 선크림도 분석해주세요! 굉장히유명한데 리아유언니가 분석해주시면 유용할것같습니다!
TajaS same :( I’m not sure if she say the missha one was a good affordable one. I’m confused.
Please make a video about moisturizers for acne skin ❤
how about klairs? btw your explanation is the best! 🌴🌴😘😘
