Ordering 2 x of those USB powered water faucets from Amazon to get here in NZ. Amazing looking device. Those other RV hand pump water gadgets are so PRIMITIVE
I like this sink set up with the piano stool .It’s not too complicated but looks nice and sturdy. The stainless steel sink will last and be more hygienic than plastic, and gives the sink a more finished look. Also if your grey tank is big the pea trap is a good idea. I was trying to figure out a simple sink idea for when I build my van. Thanks
I love your 2nd van conversion alot better than the 1st. I love the blinds you made! There is 1 thing I wanted to know...you made a window thing that you put a screen on and you can roll your window down and the rain will not come in...well you never showed how it looks...do you still have it? I would love to see it. 😊 You have a great voice and I love your videos, you should think about making more videos like showing how you made those beautiful blinds for your windows, those are the best looking blinds I have ever seen, no lie, lol you have wonderful skills! Stay safe and thank you for your videos!! 😊
Thank you so much for the kind words! I am definitely more proud of the second version than the first but every journey has to start somewhere. Someday there may even be a third version. I always say no good van build is ever done. I will definitely make a video about the window screens. In fact, I may start working on that in a few minutes. Hopefully I can have it done in the next few days.
It's not really attached. There's a hole drilled through the countertop and the faucet hose fits in there tightly and then the faucet fits on the hose. It's good enough for normal driving but probably won’t stay put if you’re in a demolition derby.
Great question! it actually took me a couple of tries to figure this one out. I couldn't use tape or Velcro because the bottom of the faucet is hollow; nothing to stick to. In the end, the hose I'm using fits tightly into the hole I drilled into the countertop. then the faucet sits down on the hose. It's not perfect, it can jump off if I hit a big enough pothole but for the most part it just sits there nicely.
Does anyone have a link to the water faucet? All I see on Amazon are the ones that attached to a 5 gallon water bottle. This one looks like it has a small hose fitting. Thanks!
Sure John, here's a link for the faucet...amzn.to/3fwnrh1 But you should know the one for the 5 gal jug is the same as the one with the small fitting hose. It's universal. Here's a much closer look at it if you want to see it in action...th-cam.com/video/GBIdhZRoi_s/w-d-xo.html I recommend you skip to 6:35 to save time.
Do you need that seat in the rear for passengers? Or did you leave it in for relaxing inside? Because you could remove that seat and put a swivel on the passenger seat to turn it around when camped. Are you familiar with the Pacifica conversion done by the company 5 Mars in Canada? If not check out their Illusion LX. (thanks for the window vent idea... may try it for the sliding side window in my roadtrek)
Yeah, I checked them out before I bought my van. At the time, they didn't convert Pacificas yet, just T&C/Caravans. I'll have to take another look. But I don't want to do anything too permanent. My next van will just be for camping and road trips. But this one still needs to easily convert back into people mover.

I can't believe how many folks are still installing hand pumps. How do you wash your hands with one of those?

Thanks for watching! I hope it helped.
My gray water smells like tooth paste. Lol.

Hi can you post the link to the p-trap? I recently purchased my van looking to get the plumbing setup.
You got it! I added both the p-trap and the sink drain to the description. Cheers!
Thanks
how do you attach the "faucet" to the piano bench

Great video
Was wondering how you attached the automatic water dispenser I have the same one but not sure how to secure it?
Thanks any info Gaylene
